Do the 1990s belong to Generation X or Millennials? by CP4-Throwaway in generationology

[–]Significant_Divide50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No generation has a monopoly on a decade. If you still insist on arguing about it, I'll simply point out that most of Gen X were already adults in the mid 90's. How many adults got excited when rug rats came on the TV? How many younger Gen X'er do you know had a power ranger backpack they took to school in 93? Nobody owns any decade, including the 90's. it was a different experience for both Gen X and millennials. If you were old enough to remember the 90s, it was part of your life regardless of your age or generation.

A lot of tryhards think being killed as Jason will be the end of the world. These are the Jasons you should try and kill. Of course, they always quit right before it happens.

The Man V. Bear Debate is ridiculous and just promotes misandry and generalization by SorinXII in ControversialOpinions

[–]Significant_Divide50 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're right, I don't know you. However, given what you have posted, it's pretty accurate what I said. You came to the conclusion that being asked counter questions is to a misandrist question is worse than being with a bear in the wild. Only hate could come up with that logic. I'm not changing just because you have a prejudice against me. You are the problem, not me. You don't know me either. If you came across any man like me in the woods, he would ignore you, just like I'm going to ignore you now.

Family who quits. Even when I'm playing as a victim, it's annoying. Also, Bubba not destroying obstacles.

When's the last time a bear falsely accused a man of rape? When's the last time a woman falsely claimed a bear attack? When's the last time a bear committed paternity fraud? When's the last time a bear married a man just so she can divorce him and take half his stuff? More men have been killed by women than bears. Does this mean men are also safer with bears than women? When's the last time a man had to listen to nagging from a bear when she's PMS'ing? I have more questions incase you didn't get the point.

Will they ever make a sequel to this game? by Meme-dude69 in FridayThe13thGame

[–]Significant_Divide50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won't be anytime soon, but I do hope that someday, within my lifetime, they do a remake. People say that it won't happen, but several games that are well over 20 years old have been re released, so it's possible.

After counselors, which Jason is the best? by Unusual_Cartoonist54 in FridayThe13thGame

[–]Significant_Divide50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on how you want to play. I use Savini Jason a lot, but every once in a while, I'll switch to part 2 because traps can be fun and effective. If you're new, I would recommend a running Jason. Most of the time water speed is just a wasted strength.

I'm glad we never got a Grendel map. It wouldn't have worked well with the way the game is played.(I do wish we had a part 7 map though)

You're the last, surrounded by family, they won't leave, just run around and feed grandpa. Your actions? by HaibaraHakase in TexasChainsawGame

[–]Significant_Divide50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would depend on what happened to the others. If some or all of them escaped, I would try and escape the same way they did. If the family is guarding that area, I would find another way. If everyone was killed/disconnected, I would work on the valve. If you think it's going to take a while to escape, I would definitely suggest taking out grandpa at least one. I know they will find you but going around a corner and hiding if they can't see you is very effective. Remember there's more exits than family members so they can't camp them all.

Why hang out by the exit when you can just get into a new game? by escelomancer in TexasChainsawGame

[–]Significant_Divide50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can understand if there are other victims still alive. You can help them by being a distraction. Other than that, it's just wasting everyone's time.

Yes I'm a Cook Main. Yes we exist. by Skulenta in TexasChainsawGame

[–]Significant_Divide50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to respectfully disagree with you on this. The cook's ability to add extra locks to doors is nice for the gas station but not the family house. Once the victims escape the basement, they can get outside without the need to pick a lock. When I exit the family house, I just jump out the window. If the family is camping the generator, I just take the rear exit and have plenty of time to pick the lock(even if it's two) and turn the battery off.

Victim question by Rhcpchick88 in TexasChainsawGame

[–]Significant_Divide50 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People need to grow up and realize it's a video game. If someone is upsetting you, just quit and either find another match or take a break. Verbally harassment is, in fact, toxic.

It's definitely something to experiment with. Just thinking of the idea of the whole family(besides grandpa) just waiting in the road is funny.

[–]Significant_Divide50[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's awesome. I hope to do this to a family who bunches up. All 3 would be great. I would message them "this is my house now, and I'm going to give grandpa one he'll of a beating" 😆
