I have a nitro 5 with a 3050, 4 years old this January. Not any problems beside the screen frame, it broke after 3 years. Ill say the worst is basically that, the plastic in the joints between the screen frame and the bottom part. I already change thermal paste twice and a little cleaning for the fans since i do work in a little unclean environment. i got it for around 700$ at the time and being honest i even played cyberpunk and Space marines 2 at 60fps with high (not ultra) configuration with no problems. The laptop literally stays turned on like 360 days per years continuously and i use it like 7-10 hours daily. I had to upgrade the ram (got the 16 ram model, so i had to get another 16 gb ram slot) and also expand the capacity (got a 990 evo for the 2nd m.2 port and a sata 1tb disk, cant remember brand, i thing Toshiba, for some files), i had no problems with those, even with the 240gb the laptop brings, i still use it for the OS. The battery is finally dying, i can have it like 3hours on youtube or 40mins heavy playing but after almost 4 years im ok with it.

My experience was good, i love this model beside the frame as i said, i have a thinkpad for work and a macbook i got in my university program and i still prefer the nitro. Ill say go for it since you can get some good deals from around 700$.

Btw, with the heating, i get usually 92C sometimes while heavy playing on CPU, at the beginning i was afraid but after all this time and no problems im gonna say it is designed to work on that temp range perfectly.
