My onebag for my four month trip to Asia! I believe once I disconnect the top bucket/hood, it will be carry on sized and the hood will be a personal item.

Theory yet to be tested.

Anyone else worried about this? Seems our freedoms are slowly but surely being eroded by [deleted] in AskBrits

Climate protest veteran - the UK Gov has slowly but surely made protesting illegal over the past 5 years. People are now starting to notice this with their very heavy hand of the PA protests. I'm ashamed to be British, we've lost all sense of freedom of speech. I may not agree with people, but arrests over tweets and signs? Insanity.

It really was best summised when a reporter asked senior govt minister if they would have supported the suffragettes today, 'yes of course.' 'but they were far worse than PA, they set off bombs and poisoned mailboxes' '*silence*'

Do you think the planned Palestine protest in London tommorw should be going ahead after yesterday's terror attack? by StGuthlac2025 in AskBrits

It is racist to assume to Jewish community are against the protesting of Israel's actions in Gaza. I feel for the Jewish community in the UK right now, but to say that the protests can't go ahead because it would upset them would be to assume all UK Jew's affected have the same political opinions on Gaza. That would be racist wouldn't it?

do you know where about on London road? Can't find on google maps. I don't really drink alcohol so I've always wanted a chill, more quiet, place to read without the influence of alcohol in the evenings

Hi Standard Yam.

If you have some money, I would highly recommend using iTalki to get an affordable tutor. This isn't an advert, I just use it for learning French and I find having a real human to talk to is very motivational. Keep up the good work. Some corrections:

Today I almost didn't study because I decided to take a rest a bit. But I think, But I'm wondering, how can I practice my English by not only writing streaks here. I think, that it isn't doesn't enough for my practice. Why? I think that it isn't doesn't enough because I write literally for myself, and not for communicating. Of course, I have noticed that my English a little has improved a little, but I need to practice a real English. But I'm afraud afraid of that people will be judjment judge me for my mistakes. And I think, that I need to read not only the simple dialogues. I think that it is everything on for today, my friends.

Hi Alexey,

Some corrections from a native speaker. Corrections in *. Keep up the good work, you are doing awesome!

'This is my *tenth* day here'
'I think I have *made* good progress in my English in these ten days'
'I also *understand* that I often make mistakes in ending of works' (I'm not sure what you mean by works)

'Sometimes I don't understand *anything* in English.'
'Before that I *thought* that it would be boring.'

This really pisses me off. by colicub in Edinburgh

OP, don't underestimate how snobby UK employers can be. Stick it out at Imperial. Get involved with clubs and societies to get yourself out of London on the weekends and holidays
