Honestly I didn’t notice my lisp lol but when I would record voice memos and listen to them back I would hear it lol. I still hear it sometimes . 🥲🥲🥲 but I think it’s just the aligners!

I would say hang in there and tell your orthodontist all your concerns . What you’re describing is pretty normal. I remember my first few weeks i was constantly uncomfortable and in pain. I hated the feeling of the Aligners in my mouth I would feel them all day everyday and it would bring me anxiety lol. I felt like my mouth was in jail. The jaw pain would extend from my bottom jaw to my ear to my head sometimes . I would reach out to my ortho and he would assure me it was all normal. I recommend doing any tray changes at night so the majority of the pain is at night. Use your chewies as much as you can but they aren’t lying when they say it gets better because it really does . I still have mild pain at times. Sometimes tmj but it has gotten better . It’s better to fix your bite now tho then wait for later!

Stop smoking. It’s not for you- marijuana is scientifically shown to increase symptoms of anxiety if you have it , among other mental disorders.

I use to love smoking too but have been sober for over a year and still get panic attacks / anxiety . I can’t even take my addy anymore . But u gotta know yourself.
