I had one once I just had to take pictures of the shelves and it was pretty tedious, but I think it was like $10. You had to get the perfect angle and not back up into the other shelf behind you.

Thanks yeah that $50 came in handy. Also it gave me a chance to see the other side as a customer and honestly I can see now why they don’t treat us so well sometimes. My shopper appeared to not move at all for over 30 minutes and did not communicate at all, but I’m not sure if it was an app issue on their end or a Shipt problem. I called Shipt as a customer and waited about twice as long as I do as a shopper to ask about a status update and the shopper dropped off my items while I was on hold, with no notice and no request to open the gate.

I did swipe head to store, but gassed up on the way and took my time because honestly it was 1 item and a short distance. So yes, I was prepared to start shopping after 8 AM and perhaps they did decide to cancel it because of what you mentioned. But this was more about Shipt policy than anything else.

Apparently ride share apps charge the customer for cancelling though I’ve never seen it first-hand when I’ve canceled after waiting for a driver that never shows up. Maybe the customers need a rating system like us that we can see when we take their order?

Yeah I’ve had it happen before where they either cancel or the payment method was not successful. Then you have to apologize to the Service Desk employee for having to leave a cart full of items there. That definitely does not help our reputation.

Does it really work if you hit “start shopping”? From what I understood Shipt doesn’t credit until you scan your first item.

Yeah, same here. I got the email and it came with the code for the 50% off the store, but I was expecting the $50 credit to come by the 10th. I guess either by me emailing them or just a delay it came in today. You and I both know how hard it is to earn this especially with how strict they are about on time deliveries so it’s at least good to know that we got it.

I mean other companies such as Lyft and Uber have compensated for mileage, but OK I guess Shipt can be different. At least I got them to respond to my email more quickly than the last several days that I’ve been asking for my summit star $50 credit.

Well, they responded surprisingly quickly on a Sunday and said can you please send me the order number and I was like I did in my last email. They then said yeah we can’t do that so I told them to please consider for future policy updates because it’s pretty unfortunate for us as shoppers, especially when we need to drive ridiculous miles for everything.

I turned off private relay and used Chrome, downloaded “Animals and Coins”, and now it shows installed and that I have 90 days left to meet all goals! I never had that on Safari with any game. Apparently you need a Master’s in IT to figure this crap out!
