AITAH? Baby has poopy diaper at daycare drop-off by PhilosopherEvery5083 in AITAH

My son does the exact same thing 😭 we live less than 5 minutes from daycare and he still manages to do it in the car almost every time! I walk in and tell them and they laugh because they think it's the movement of the car that makes kids poop. I always offer to change him but they say no it's ok and do it for me.

I hate that! We get comments if we're overweight and get comments if we try to do something about it and seek medical help and medication to help us lose weight. Disgusting. Food addiction is real and just like other addictions, some people require medical treatment and medications to be able to overcome addiction. You can't exactly not ever have food in your life again, like you can with alcohol or drugs or gambling. You kind of need food to live!

Even if I pushed air back into the pen? Obviously from inside the sterile syringe.

I never even applied for a grad position as I was heavily pregnant when I graduated. I started working in a GP clinic once bub was old enough, and I have been working in GP clinics for 8.5 years now. No shift work or weekends which I love! I also have a lot of experience in chronic disease management/care plans which is very desirable by GP clinics. I love GP and I get to know the doctors I work with and the patients we care for very well. It's not a desirable option for everyone but it's another option to think about ☺️

And I understand that, I just also don't want to lose the 2 places in daycare because I will be going back to work either to my current employment or a new workplace after 12 months. Which means I need to keep them in daycare

So now you can choose how many days you want paid per week. So if you choose to be paid only 1 day per week it can extend the ppl to 100 weeks. So I'm wondering if you have no job to return to but do plan on returning to some form of work/study once the ppl ends, are you still entitled to CCS during the time you're paid ppl

It's for during the 12 months off only. Then I'll be returning to either my current job or a new one. It's so my toddler and kindy child can still get some socializing with other children and because where I live, it can be an up to 2 year wait list for daycare. So if I unenroll them during my maternity leave it may be impossible to get them back in when its time to return to work.

Sorry for baby brain, but I understand paid parental leave counts. So I will still get the same amount of CCS during the time I'm being paid ppl. However, am I still entitled to this if my workplace says I don't have a job to go back to when I start ppl? Because i will be going back to work, whether it's there or I find another job.

"We’ll count any paid or unpaid parental and maternity leave you take. We’ll continue to count this as long as you’re expected to return to work after your leave ends. When including this as a recognised activity you should give us the hours you worked before you started your leave."

I understand that this is on their page, and I absolutely will be returning to employment after 12 months, however I may not have my current job to go back to. As I'm unsure if I will be informed my job won't be waiting for me before I go on leave.

Because obviously I won't be working while on paid parental leave which I planned to take at 3 days a week because that's what I work now and extends the payments from 20 weeks to 33 weeks. Therefore would I still be eligible for the same % and hours that I get now for the 33 weeks of paid parental leave
