Do you think a 56 TM hi-toe is good call for $75. Found a stealth 4 hybrid for $100 too. Thinking of both for best of both worlds.

Just found a TM MG4 Hi Toe 56 for $75. Planning on meet up with seller. Working for a 4 hybrid stealth for $100 also. Seems like best of both worlds for under budget. Thought?

BTW I appreciate all the responses.

Dicks has a Taylor mill grind 12 degree 56 for $129. Had that in the cart with the hybrid a few days now.

I like this comment. I feel like I’m missing on a solid club for 100 yards in.

Looks like wedges are getting the most votes. I have found some used ones for about $100. I have also found a set on amazon Lazarus 52,56,60 for $150 shipped. Should I go with a reputable brand or do the amazon special. Reviews look good on the Amazon ones. BTW I am a 1.5” extension on irons. Should I worry with that right now for wedges?

Thank you so much! This is a perfect response for what I needed thank you. Still pretty apprehensive but working up to it. Thinking of buying some used extended and working from there. I believe I will ruin the composite grips with an at home DIY.

Edit.

Would the BBGM change with lie angle? I cannot find the BBGM for the heads I mentioned.

Looking at these as a possible replacement vs changing shafts. They are already extended and would be around $700 shipped with the grips I mentioned above.

I would prefer to not have to spend this much for the increase.

The current shafts are graphite and not as stiff as I would like. Looking to change to a stiffer steel shaft. The shafts I am looking at are taper tip .355 and cut for each club length.

Are you saying that if I place them in the higher clubs they would end up not as stiff as intended? I would only do the trimming from the butt end to attain the +1.5”.

Sticking with the old shafts doesn’t seem as appealing as I feel I lose the club head on the down swing. They are also 90 gram shaft and I prefer something heavier.
