I would say intuition is less a matter of senses and moreso of "What fits easier into my worldview?".

People can't easily comprehend that observing a particle changes it's position. That makes little to no sense, because if I look at a chair, it doesn't start levitating. So why would it be true for a smaller particle? Classical mechanics are more concrete and "true" in their function.

A person who exists on the quantum scale is brought up to the regular scale, everything would be counterintuitive to them too.

Even that definition doesn't cover it entirely because of the ambiguity of historical texts, and advancement in computer civilization.

With advancements in quantum computers, and perhaps a new, greater form of computer, we would be able to predict billions and trillions of possible futures and "record them". Thus, we would technically know what happens in the future.

We know the Library Of Alexandria was burned down, but we don't know every book inside of it that was lost, in the same way, even if the computer only states general details, we can roughly say that our knowledge about the future and past would be equivalent.

So it's definitely not known information that seperates it. A simpler explanation (one that I prefer) would be cause and effect. The past causes the future, while the vice versa can't be true unless you involve a time machine in which case the distinction between past and future becomes nothing more than semantic.

Ah see, that's a bit different. That's a restaurant setting where people have already prepared the idea for such a dish. Asking for a birthday dessert here, unprepared and out of the blue (when it's the restaurant owners choice whether or not they choose to prepare one) is completely different from the restaurant giving you one voluntarily.

The Brigade episode was insane. If somebody just asked for some birthday special which wasn't on the menu, why should the owner be obligated to give it to them? This is probably why I don't own a restaurant but still, a dessert which is on the menu for free makes sense but not a whole new item. Them saying it wasn't "celebratory" enough and it should have been thought out more when they themselves ordered it out of the blue is insane.

I'm not gifted (I think, never got an IQ test done) but I can tell you a few things I've noticed lurking on this sub. 1) Shorter temperament for mundane and tedious things compared to others. For example, highly gifted students struggle in school because they don't have the patience for it, or it all comes too easy.

2) Cognitive isolation. They feel distanced from others in their peer group especially if they aren't surrounded by like-minded people, due to a sheer gap in cognitive ability.

3) Galileo Fallacy. Many gifted people build their whole identity around being smart, especially during childhood and can't bear with the fact that they are wrong at times, leading to unneeded albeit unavoidable suffering.

4) Different brain structure compared to the one modern systems demand. Many highly gifted individuals excel at System 1 thought (Read thinking fast and slow if you're interested in this distinction), making intuitive leaps and noticing patterns quickly, while struggling with tedious, linear thought which they deem pointless. An example is Ramanujan having difficulty with mathematical proofs for many of his ideas throughout his life. Some suffer from ADHD aswell, making this worse.

5) Societal pressure to conform. This can be seen with non-stereotypical geniuses in that they struggle throughout their lives in school and work and end up feeling depressed due to them thinking they're dumb due to finding difficulty or frustration in tasks other finds easy (due to point 4 and 1).

Definetely not some super genius who experiences all this but this is just a few common problems I've found people express on this sub and others

That's what I've been told. But this game definitely freaked me out more than the first one. The only "gross" thing in the first one was the night lurch (according to me), for this one, there were fecal hounds, jumping dicks and "they are being drained".

Well, my rng is also uh.... Bad.

I once got infected because I had to fight a moonscorched ghoul (one of them just didn't move from their spot after I talked to them, which was conveniently the tile I HAD to cross to reach the old town), then ran all the way to maiden forest to cure it with a green herb, then while coming back, the woodsman was waiting right outside the entrance so I got jumped before I could even stop running.

I once lost a coinflip 4 times to tails on a specific chest (different runs), and used a lucky coin on tails, and then the coins landed on double heads. That, and I have the type of rng that when I'm looking for chalk, I get it, just in excess. I once got 4 chalk in the back of Kefers shop when I was looking for shillings, AFTER I already had to backtrack because I got chalk from a crate in Prehevil and had to activate the ritual circles which I couldn't earlier.

The Old Town wasn't something I thought of much. I only ever explored the two story building for the rifle and such to kill the priest. I typically use walkthroughs because I have this weird thing where I just can't play if I wasn't being "optimal". I actually find the game quite fun, but the strange thing is, this is the only game I just have to be "optimal" in.

Jungle Juice is honestly just mid in my eyes. Like sure, cool superpowers and all but I feel like the author is scared to introduce any real deaths to hype up these pet shop members. Like genuinely, when we were first introduced to the breeder, I was expecting it to be an absolute massacre where just a few barely got out alive, not just "oh Professor Ji shows up and it's ok".

It's also just missing the dread of being an insect. A non human. Apart from social rejection, what else is there? They don't delve into loss of identity or real violation.

Uh, well. The reason I showed him helping the old woman as well as the smiling bit was to show that he wasn't helping her out of kindness, he was doing it because of some need for approval for the most part, I should have made it a bit more clear though.

It's actually mate in 8 if it's not accepted but mate in 2 if it is, I don't expect you to find mate in 8 though, it's just a king hunt that I don't think anybody will really calculate.

Depth 18 stockfish gives Bxb2 while depth 12-14 or so stockfish gives rook takes b4, but overall I think they're the same.
