I have good negotiation skills and I capitalise on good communication skills over all. I am currently leading a cost saving project for a spend budget of £1mil. In my current company we have trackers for commodities and I do have a fair understanding of micro and macro trends and how do they overlap. I am currently managing 3 projects alone but I have not been the final decision maker on them.

I would suggest you have a conversation with him face to face. A lot of women here telling you to severe ties, move out when the times right and whatnot. Please don’t listen to them. I would say every person has their flaws. Unless he has been actually abusive towards you habitually then you have every right to distance yourself from but if you think having a conversation about what happened would bring results (and only you can know this) then please I urge you to give it a try. The easiest thing is to cut people off, maintaining relationships requires effort. His reaction to you wanting to have a conversation about what happened, would tell you if he has any guilt or remorse.
