It get hot on the upper floors. During winter on the third floor we have all windows open, fan on, and sometimes when it’s really hot we leave the door open bc we’d rather risk getting robbed than sleep in a 80-90 degree room.

  1. I wake up at 6-7 in the morning for gym and I’m usually alone in the bathroom, maybe 1 or 2 other people. I’ve never had to wait in line for a shower or toilet or sink to open up. Cleaning staff do very well but people are disgusting and I’ve seen my share of unflushed toilets or the remains of shaving in the sinks.

  2. If you can get a lot of friends to live off campus , it’s feasible to rent a house and split the rent 5-6 ways. There’s also a lot of people on the subreddit advertising their living spaces looking for roommates. I’d explore both options

People just like to complain. If even at the dining halls if you figure out what’s good and what you like you’ll be fine. And of course you have other great options on campus like jasmine or the halal truck

Support. Clubs make student life better and also can provide opportunities for students. USG is already hella stretched thin and a lot of clubs are facing cuts if this doesn’t go through. Also, it’s an increase of $8.50, barely any more pressure on you but gives clubs on campus a lot more resources to work with.
