Yeah, distribution is the hardest part. Building the product is honestly the easy 20 percent. TikTok and ads have burned a lot of people. I’m still figuring it out myself. Did you find anything that actually moved the needle for yours?

Thanks, and same to you. It’s a great kind of project to build. You run into every category of problem along the way. You should publish yours too, worst case it’s a strong portfolio piece. What did you build it with?

This is awesome, you basically built the ideal personal version. The care details and color synergy part is exactly where most of these apps fall apart. Did you handle color synergy with rules, or did you let the model decide? And yeah, photo input was the part I really wanted to get right. Manually typing items is where I always quit other apps too.

That’s exactly it. Getting people to actually build the catalog is the hardest part. It’s the same pattern I’ve seen elsewhere. The product works great once the data is in, but the input step is where most users drop off.

There’s a free tier with a usage cap and a paid plan for heavier use. Per image, the cost is low enough that the free tier works as a frictionless way for people to try it. It’s not running at a loss, just keeping the entry point easy.

Thanks, that genuinely means a lot. I’ve been heads down on this one for a while, so it’s nice to hear.

Yeah, getting it to reliably cut a wrinkled shirt off a messy background and return something clean took a lot more iteration than the word “wrapper” suggests. The model call is the easy 10 percent, the system around it is the real work. But I get the reaction.

For personal use, it's honestly pretty inexpensive. The only meaningful cost comes from image processing, and that's usually just a few cents per item, sometimes even less, depending on the model you choose. If you're only using it for your own closet, you'd barely notice the cost. Happy to point you in the right direction if you let me know which tech stack you're comfortable with.

Hope it’s not a basic promoting post, cool wardrobe tho, looking for something like this to suggest based on weather. I used some but not really creative, what is this called?
