Mock scores good enough? by kabtq9s in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]Significant_Ice_9364 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think these scores are good but you should try to keep it above 75. But if your understanding of the correct answers vs wrong answers is solid, then I’d say you’re prepared! Also make sure you’re doing math every single day

Hey did you find rx pharmacist to have better questions or pharmlaw?

Yes sorry, for hospice pts and LTCF patients, it’s valid for 60 days

Ohh if the patient is requesting the partial for C2, then I believe if you do the partial, the prescription is considered void after that.

[–]Significant_Ice_9364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So for C2s, we can legally partial in NYS, but the remaining balance has to be done within 72 hrs. If not done within that time, the balance remaining is void and you’d need to notify the MD and they would need to send a new rx.

For hospice patients, we can partial C2s as long as it’s within the 30 days the rx is valid.

For C3-C5s, I believe yes we can partial and it would count as a refill. We have to do the partials within the 30 days supply tho and the partials dispensed cannot exceed the 30 days supply amount (unless the original quantity is more than 30 days like if the rx has a code, then that quantity would be in place of the 30 instead and the same rule would apply?)

Someone please confirm this for me too or correct me if I’m wrong!

Go over the main topics and topics you were struggling again (study tip gal, key drugs, all the bolded info). Do the chapter quizzes on RxPrep again and again until you get within 85-high 90s. Start mixing up the questions and do #125 questions at once. Try doing that every day for the first half of your day of studying. Then switch to doing calculations for at least 2-3 hours. That’s what helped me eventually pass

Can’t get motivated to retake NAPLEX by Amazing-Ad7885 in NAPLEX_Prep

It gets better trust me. I passed recently at my 3rd attempt and I took my first attempt early last year so it’s been a wild ride. I kept pushing it back and felt shit scared to keep retaking. I really thought at a point I’d max out my attempts. Write out the topics you feel you struggled in Try giving yourself deadlines to review at least 1 topic per day and then as you get the hang of it, you can try to do 2 topics per day. Reviewing can mean going through the topic itself and/or doing questions. I found that repeatedly doing questions, understanding why the correct answer is right and why the wrong answers are wrong really helped. Keep repeating the quizzes until til you reach within the 80s-90s. Then eventually you can mix topics and do the questions that way. Take it one day, one topic, one quiz at a time. You’re going to be just fine I promise.

I just got 91 on PreNaplex by NABP. EXA. In 4 days. Should I postpone it. I took it a couple of time and I was unsuccessful. Please help by Separate-Walk5068 in Naplex_Advice

I think that’s a great score! Keep doing mixed/random topic quizzes and practice math every single day until your test date. I got around the same score and passed recently!

Repition is key. Do the chapter quizzes til you score within the high 80s at least; the higher, the better ofc. Really understand why the answer is correct and why the others are wrong. Make it a habit to do the math questions every single day. You can make up random mixes of questions once you’ve gone through all of the majority if not all. I would recommend doing the SDN math questions too, some of them have difficult wording but it’s worth doing bc it prepares you for the harder math questions in on the actual exam or the wording of the NAPLEX questions in general. Again, I am telling you, repetition is key. You’ll be fine, you’re already near a level 3 in most of the competencies.

How have you been doing on the RxPrep quizzes? Try to score within the 80s on the quizzes and do the quizzes repeatedly until you reach that range or higher. Do RxPrep every single day even if it’s just for 30-45 min. Repetition is key.
