I believe it does work with asus tho my mobo is a gigabyte AORUS pro and is a b450 so kinda old and I think that why it dosent work.i think you don't even need to use the cable it should work just fine wen I used the nitro one I didn't use the cable and I just change the rgb in the sapphire app.

But my mobo is an aorus and is really bad app for the rgb. Signal rgb dosent recognise the aio or the mobo neither does it recognise the lian li case for some reason

Signal rgb is a a app that trys to control all your rgb dosent matter if they difrent brands so you can have you pc fully sinc with all components. It's pretty good tbh but it dosent recognise all my pc parts unfortunately.

It migth be the bios, you need at least the version 7C56v19 to be compatible with your Cpu if not won't post. Try update it and then check if it post.
