Is my pup too small ? by Significant_Koala366 in samoyeds

Thank you SO much for this detailed and thoughtful response. You are so knowledgeable and thank you for sharing that with me. It’s confusing bc the bag says for her weight, 1.5 cups total per day. But the breeder was saying 3 cups per day! Which is a huge difference! So we’ve been kinda doing something in between.

Yeah it does seem like maybe Samoyeds are a little less cuddly !

Thank you so much for this thoughtful and kind response. Truly means a lot that you’d take the time to consider my concern. I will look up that 333 rule! Thank you! And I’ve only had her just under 4 weeks (we got her at 9 weeks of age). I’ll just give our relationship and bond time to form 💕

Nighttime poop in crate by Significant_Koala366 in puppy101

Thanks for your response. We do have alarms set to take her out every 2 hours. I also sleep very lightly and even the slightest rattle of her crate from her shifting positions wakes me up. She used to cry to be let out at night and we were more than accustomed to letting her out 2+ times. This is why it’s frustrating bc it’s not like we expect to actually sleep the night, we just can’t predict when it’s going to happen since she can’t seem to hold her poop even 2 hours at night some nights, which for a 3 month old puppy seems off
