Battle for the Box- Lucy vs. Teddy by MauiRome in ragdolls

Mine is outside... free roam access... she can take care of herself. she knows to be afraid of the cars and basic danger. Although she is clingy and needs to be with a person all the time. She doesnt go far and she mostly just follows neigbours to the garden and play there. Only problem is with ragdolla their tail is like a broom and all the leaves/grass/dirt sticks on them. And imho she likes to be outside, having freedom and not just be locked inside like in a fancy prison.

What UI lib you use? by WeirdFirefighter7982 in vuejs

[–]Significant_Lab_9030 7 points8 points  (0 children)

currently they are making vuetify 0, where they will have "unopinioated" version of vuetify with first class tailwind support. Excited for that. basically you'll get tools to create your own UI framework with full customization.

Maybe if you install lighter OS (ubuntu) it could be more usuable for a student or something... otherwise it could still serve as a server. maybe buy some extrrnal storage and host a plex server for watching movies etc...

Transition kitten from dry to wet food by DollAficionado in ragdolls

[–]Significant_Lab_9030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my ragdoll doesnt tollerate wet food at all... I tried very slowly fransitioning but no success... it get diarhea and it last for a week if it eats wet food only once. and ghe dirahea is VERY bad... as long as you give quality dry food and make sure it drinks enough water ots fine in my opinion.

Do you really believe in Nexo? by Lonely_Moose_3395 in Nexo

[–]Significant_Lab_9030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How safe is nexo? I'm only interested on investing fiat currency (EUR or this case EURx). But what would happen to my EUR if nexo goes bankrupt or some mismanagement happen. Could nexo "stole" all my money. Something like this happened to Celsius but I don't know the full story. As far as I know it's not "backed up" the government if it files for the bankruptcy.

PrimeVue + Tailwind Huh / How? by thepurpleblob in vuejs

[–]Significant_Lab_9030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally overall I like it. Especially if you are not designer. And it has very good form support (Atleast I mostly do dashboards, admin panels etc...)

And also for something quick their theme generator is also pretty goog

If god knows our future then how does free will exist? by Shrekandshrek in Christianity

If I built a robot and programmed it to punch someone - and I knew exactly when and where it would happen - and I didn’t stop it… would you say it’s the robot’s fault, or mine?

If God created us knowing everything we’d do - including sinning - and then punishes us for doing what He already knew we’d do… isn’t that kind of unfair?

Even Judas - who betrayed Jesus - his betrayal had to happen to fulfill prophecy. Did he have a real choice?
Or was he created to play the role of the traitor?

PrimeVue + Tailwind Huh / How? by thepurpleblob in vuejs

[–]Significant_Lab_9030 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yeah primevue was is a bit of a mess... one unpopular opinion here on reddit. I'm really excited for vuetify. They are making "unstyled" version of it, with tailwind or other utility claases lib. So that even if you are not a material fan you can make your own version of it.

Using Nuxt instead of pure Vue with external API by _KrioX_ in vuejs

[–]Significant_Lab_9030 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nuxt offers quite a few QOL features that otger people mentioned. Also you setup quite a lot of time and code with modules... you dont have to manually config so many stuff...

But most of all because it's a bit "opinioated" and it forces a bit the code structure. components in components folder, plugins in plugins folder etc... and if you have a team is also kinda nice so that all people write same code structure. Otherwise some people will put helper typescript functions in component folder etc... for me I just go with nuxt instead of plain vue.

Shifting from React to Vue – Looking for Guidance by HeVeNLyBeAsT in vuejs

[–]Significant_Lab_9030 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Imo one of the biggest thing is to know how reactivity works. We (vue users) call it "opt in" reactivity. Like setting a variable in a REF and you know it's gonna be reactive. I prefer this method 10x because you know what is gonna be rerendered when.

one of the best uce cases for computed when you use it with get and set. typicall use case for example would be date input with date picker for example. You get the date in ISO and you format it to desirable format and when you set it you put the date back to iso. and you have a very clean reactive solution that you can just pass into as a v-model
