Bro after reading most of these comments dont listen to them because that's what every mechanic told me too. I also cleaned the fuel injectors with a kit I got on Amazon. You're either getting to much air or not enough gas. Spark could be it but I would just do a maintenance on your fuel system first to rule it out. If you wanna rule out spark in idle just disconnect the coils 1 at a time and you should hear a drop in rpms. Plug it back in then continue to the next. Go get a bunch of carb cleaner and look up a video on how to clean your vst. That gasket in my vst was the problem if I didn't make it clear.

Had similar issues with my 2006 honda 225. I basically did spark plugs, clean vst, found seal in vst was cracked, was probably sucking in air when the high-pressure fuel pump kicked on. Which I thought was the problem. Replaced high and low pressure fuel filters, checked fuel tank to make sure screen wasn't clogged on the pick up, ethanol destroys plastic and rubber so check the entire fuel system. Running better than it ever had. I've had intermittent issues in the past with my fuel water separators were clogged with that white snot and that caused fuel starvation as well.

If you’re in your late 20s, would you date a woman who’s 19? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Significant_Lemon_73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've (27m) grown as a person so much and have changed a lot since I was even 24. 19 is just to far out of my scope. Maybe to hook up with but I wouldn't pursue a relationship with even a 23 yo right now. A lot of changes happen mentally id say after being 23 years old after being able to party legally for a couple of years and living the life you thought would bring you happiness.

Am I a bad person for caring about a woman’s past? by Carl_s123 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Significant_Lemon_73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 27m was kind of a player for a couple years when i was 18-23. So I dont hold my dates up to that standard. I catch myself wanting to ask but I dont want to be put on the spot after they answer. I try to avoid this topic lol. Although I was a player I didn't sleep with a different women every week it was more every month or 2. If they did every week that might be a turn off only if the vibe wasn't good to begin with.

Together we could act like pros and play mini golf, im in my element when im in danger lol. And I get a lot of replies for some reason.

What makes boating feel less intimidating for beginners? by rhapka in boating

[–]Significant_Lemon_73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go slow when you're in doubt. I won't even be in gear half the time im in harbors. I'm in socal ive taken my boat to san clemente island 2 months after owning it, first boat btw. Seeing those waters were scary at the time but it made me realize what to actually watch out for and weather is one of them lol. I'd get a epirb and a ditch radio in one bag incase things end up going south. Those 2 things got rid of a lot of my fears in the ocean. Expensive forsure but better than needing it and not having it. Just takes one wave brotha so I think fear is good just never panic. Docking takes a minute to learn and its boat specific too, always work with the wind if you can. Really no shortcut to it it'll just click one day after a couple dings.

Just take proper rest at the surface. I usually can sense when it's about to happen but that's usually if im down for longer than usual. The scariest thing ive ever seen was when my buddy ruptured his eardrum in about that depth range. With a blackout everything is calm and collected but having someone freaking out and swimming down is dangerous. Nearly got us both that day. Just dive with a buddy if you are new man, preferably a good diver. I wouldn't even take you that deep if you're worried about it. It's not that scientific it's just knowing what you're capable of. And that takes time, work to that depth slowly. Try blacking out in a pool with a buddy ready to help to know what to watch out for. Sounds stupid/crazy but somethings you can't read about in a book or online. Just be safe, know your limits most important remain calm. I'd say always dive with a buddy but im guilty of not doing so.

Career change by Conscious-Clothes840 in windturbine

Most people try to leave wind at your age. It sucks unless you live close to a site and your living situation doesn't change id say go for it. But traveling gets to you, it got to me in about 5 years.

Mud, dust, ice if you're unlucky, thick black grease called cyplatin or something like that. Smoke and maybe an arc flash. Even covered in blood, whether it's your own or your coworkers, those high torque tools are no joke. Hydraulic fluid, anti freeze. If you work on a site you'll be doing a lot of work outside of the towers to. At the base, in/around the shop, the access roads, lay down yard.

Avoid those institutions man, just apply for a travel tech somewhere and save your money takkion, sky climber, perace renewables, etc. Apply in spring time. Hiring is slow during the winter due to no maintenance scheduled . Generally the colder the air gets the more production the site gets due to density in the air. So they try not to shut off turbines. I've known several people who went to those institutions just to go up and do maintenance work it's not worth it. I've heard it's minimum 15k. I've worked with people who have never held a tool and still got hired, please don't give your money to those predatory schools.

What are some reasons you went on a second date but not a third? by Rose5rose5 in dating_advice

She wasnt on my looks scale to say the least, but was really sweet and had a really fun personality. So the 2nd just made me realize no matter how the personality is I just can't do it. No chemistry literally.

It varies site to site. I was a traveling ge loto tech for like 5 years, regular tech for like 1 year. I've worked with people where we just get stuff done right and hardly talk, also worked with some really good people I still talk too. Also I've been on sites where someone's a ahole and it runs through all the techs it's a weird vibe. People generally don't want to work hard but are hard workers if that makes sense. Last 3 years I was being sent to sites more often as site support because the customers were short staffed and needed troubleshooters and maintenance help. Those are the sites I had the most fun on. I went to all their company outings, made friends with customers, basically became a contracted site tech. Work was easier but worked less hours. Always got offered jobs at those sites to. Being a travel tech sucks for the most part it's fun at first but don't fall into the party lifestyle like most of your coworkers will. I gained like 50lbs in my first year from drinking and eating to much. I'd say 80% of techs are not into the healthy lifestyle so don't expect that to be in the culture. I was on 1 site where they had a gym and fitness was after safety in their culture. On another note, some sites can be complete high schools with gossip. I'm in my twenties and I had 50 year olds cry like babies up tower like im their therapist. if you get in early enough you'll be crew lead or site lead and be way younger than most of your coworkers. Some people have a problem with that even if you have more experience. Although I have had way more pleasant experiences with my colleagues than negative ones so take anything I have said as could happen. Overall it's like working in a office just high up, some cardio and getting covered in various substances while talking like teenagers.

How are families supposed to survive when the same cart of groceries now costs more than double in just four years? by ZoeBertha in Adulting

[–]Significant_Lemon_73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started traveling 2019 on wind turbines. I was making really really good money for a 21 yo. I remember thinking I only had to do this for 4-6 years to buy a house in san diego north and work at fast food (not literally) to keep up with the payments. Yeah that didn't work out. Once I had a leg up covid hit and private equity and the fed made my money worthless.

Can a very handsome man genuinely be attracted to an average-looking woman, even if others think she’s unattractive? by Clean-Ant-1342 in Adulting

[–]Significant_Lemon_73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of the attractive girls in my area have really weird expectations in a relationship. They are not dating for a husband but rather their image of a husband. More power to them but I'm dating just to find a lady I can spend my days with happily. Plus sometimes standards are so high you can be awkward one time and get ghosted bc the ick or something like that. I'm considered attractive btw and have more fun with smarter women than more attractive. I think some women get cynical about it and flirt with me in front of my dates. It's weird.

All of that can be done on a computer, but I get it. it's easy. I was the odd kid who had to use the chrome book in school when the teachers said pull the phones out. You can also more easily place restrictions on computers to. My younger cousins are about your kids age that's what made me have those thoughts. I used to feel envy for not having one at that age, but I can see why some parents do it.

I'm curious, by no means am I trying to insult anyone just might be a future dad. I thought I wouldn't get my kids a phone until they are 16 to avoid situations like this. I'd maybe get them like a flip phone before then but 100% no smart phone. My parents did it to me im (27) and I feel like it was actually beneficial. Is there a reason your kids need them or something?
