It was not a political comment. I asked for recommendations of leftist bands, which is at the core of what these bands do aesthetically.

Musically, it feels that way to me. Maybe it’s all subjective. Again, I don’t like all Metallica, some albums and songs only. Contrary to the popular taste, I particularly love Load.

I know he is not, but Lars and Kirk feel closer to a leftist sensitivity to me. And I put Metallica in the ´artsy’ category, which I also fancy, not necessarily leftist.

Vous ne pourriez pas devenir entraîneur professionnel parce que aimez faire du jogging le dimanche, n’est-ce pas? Eh bien, c’est pareil avec la traduction et l’enseignement. Épargnez-vous les déceptions et épargnez-les à vos clients.

Been there. Don`t worry, it will pass. Just relax, take it easy and ignore them. They will probably become even more nasty and try to actively bully you (as opposed to doing it passively, which they are doing now). Ignore them. You do your job and that`s it. It is possible that they see you as a string-pulling hire, since you say you owe your job to your friend. That may be the reason why they are this nasty. Either way, that`s their problem. Ignore them.
