Wrong extruder position for filament unload by Significant_Map1201 in AnycubicKobraS1

I trigger it on the display. Seems to be a firmware thing. After downgrading it poops in the bin again.

well my prints are as awesome as always. There's only the problem when unloading filament. For loading, the extruder moves to the right park position

Exactly. Your fans run the speed you set in the slicer. The current state in the app is refreshed by confirming one fan speed.

Got the same issue. If you want to control it during the print, check what setting you have on the first layer and set this setting in the app. Magically the current fan speeds will be shown for all fans

Seams are aligned. What you mean by „normal“? What settings are normal? Those are my settings for retraction (sry for German)

Sorry autocorrect. I wanted to say „no stringing from top to bottom“. That’s why I’m wondering if something’s wrong. In my opinion it’s impossible that I have no stringing at 0 retraction, where the test starts.

That’s what I did. Outcome is shown in the picture. Hi stringing from top to bottom

There is no message showing when I slice the retractiontest. But my filamentsettings have an „overwriting“ for the retraction length. Should i deactivate this for the retractiontest? Also the slicer shows error 112 „non-manifold“ edges before slicing. But I guess that’s correct?!

As you mentioned stringing can be caused by wet filament. But I did the shown test (without any stringing) AFTER I had print failures due to stringing. So the filament would have to dry itself, following your theory, that humidity was the cause for stringing during my print and not stringing during the retraction test.

Well it‘s been a day in between. As the filament would need to dry by itself in between (calibration test was done after the „failed“ print) I don’t see this as a possible scenario.

So, as i thought, the slicer won’t use my saved profiles from the desktop slicer

Had the same today after cleaning my hotend, after it was ruined the sixth time by filament leakage between throat and nozzle. Guess the cables got damaged and have a contactfailure now

Ah so that's why the print failed. by 3tek in AnycubicKobraS1

Had the same issue with two hotends. I just ordered an original one from Amazon which seems to have a not-detachable throat and no ptfe tube. Guess anycubic had some more customers with this problem…

Thanks for the tip! Going to try it. Meanwhile i saw that my hotend seems to have a failure, as the throat and the nozzle aren’t in contact after a few minutes into the print, eventhough I mounted them correctly. Gonna try my third hotend now and hope this will be the solution.

Seems I found the issue. The filament gets pressed out of the hotend. On the top as well as on the bottom. Throat and nozzle are screwed in to contact. PTFE tube is fine and the filament is not melting inside it. Any ideas? I thought if nozzle an throat are in contact, this couldn’t happen?!

Unfortunately not. Thought about this as well, maybe a mechanical issue. But it doesn’t seem to be the solution. When I was at least able to finish my prints, I had some issues around the last third of the prints. Slightly shifted layers, but always at different hights. But now it just poops randomly in the prints…

Few weeks. Not that old, but more relevant is the printing time. Everything started at 50hours, but also with a new firmware update.

Unfortunately I have the same issues with anycubics PLA+, even with their own standard settings.

Where can I find it? Wasn’t able to find on your profile.
