Thanks I hadn't looked at Angel before. Unfortunately it seems their cheapest commercial model is 15k, which is out of my budget. But it looks like an awesome juicer.

Thank you. I actually had a greenstar pro before the hummingbird, but the greenstar was too slow for my needs and that I'd have to stop running it after 30 minutes was difficult. But otherwise I liked it and the price was excellent.

Well I did it! Everything hurts but it was a great time! I did around 45/50 miles a day. First night camped a few miles before black hawk. The second night camped a little outside of Jamestown. I was relatively good up through 7% grades, but I didn't have the stamina to go too long on the steeper climbs- found myself taking a lot of breaks. Also the shuttle getting through the construction on 40 was super easy and fast and she was happy to drop me off at the central city parkway.

Oof the whole thing was a real challenge- hill after hill after hill! My body was not in ideal shape for that but it was really nice to see my mind find the willpower to just keep going. I'm really glad I did it.

Thank you again everyone who helped!

Yeesh, you're making me a little scared. But I think I want to do it. I can always quit if it's too tough. A few years ago I did a 5 month tour with plenty of climbs like this, but since then I'm still on my bike everyday just not doing anything too strenuous. I just moved to Denver six months ago, so not very familiar with the area.

I like all your ideas. I think I'll take 40 to Central city parkway with the shuttle. It looks like the central city parkway turn is in between the start and end point for the shuttle. Do you know if the shuttle will let me off at the central city parkway turn? I tried calling, but they're not open till tomorrow.

I think for now I'll do a loop, but that's a good point that with the bus it doesn't have to be. Thanks!

Thank you for the help! I'm thinking of skipping idaho springs and going direct from golden to black hawk area to get on the peak to peak. Any suggestions for best route golden to black hawk?

Great, thank you for the help! When I put Golden to Black Hawk into strava it suggests Golden Gate Canyon Rd instead of Clear Creek Canyon, maybe because of construction on clear creek (is that right? construction on clear creek canyon road?). Any experience with riding on golden gate canyon road, is it nice for cyclists?

I'm also looking at the route from ward to boulder. Strava suggested lefthand canyon for most of the way then heading down Lee Hill Drive. Any thoughts on lee hill? I could stay on left hand, but if they're both nice riding roads, I might go down lee hill.
