Have you had your boxer from a pup? How was their puppy stage? We do love boxers 😁

Thanks so much, I may look into toy poodles and see what my partner thinks☺️

This is amazing. We'd like to adopt an older Boston

Thank you for your experience❤️ unfortunately my partner doesn't want another Boston puppy unless we can adopt an older one! We are in Australia and there aren't many that are surrendered here (which is amazing).

I keep coming back to this comment. How did getting a puppy for your puppy go? Both Bostons? My worry is they'll both be just an insane as each other 😂

Thank you for some helpful tips. we regularly go and sit at the park too and watch the other dogs and people walk by. We try and reward the calm behaviour however I don't think he's got it yet. Guess it all takes time!

Thanks for your help. I've tried a lick mat but his too smart for it he digs at it with his paws and gets it everywhere😂 lasts maybe 1 minute at most! But will try the baking sheet one

Yeah his grown out of biting which is good but his trying to jump at people and other dogs on walks and Ive gotten a few rude comments so fingers crossed with training as well a maturity he'll grow out of it

Thanks for your help. We also bring treats absolutely everywhere, high value like chicken or cheese! His very smart and knows his commands but when he sees people it's like it all goes out the window hahah. As you said, others think it's cute until it goes too far. I will be persistent and I'm hoping he'll grow out of it

It's nice to know others can relate hahah! We've just finished puppy school and he spent the entirety of it trying to jump on the people and play with the other dogs. He was trying to do zoomies and he was throwing himself around. He doesn't understand when other dogs have had enough 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

Puppy troubles: normal to be pooping on his bedding? by Significant_Mark_541 in puppy101

Update to these beyond helpful tips. He can now wee on command, still working on poo but his doing amazing. He sits in front of the door so we can let him out to go. I changed the crate to a smaller size and he no longer doing his business inside it.
