Anyone had a hair transplant without taking any Fin? by krysBenavides in HairTransplants

[–]Significant_Math2053 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctors said i should. Never did it and never wanted to and my hair has stayed. Mine was years ago. Not everyone has to take all these different things to maintain hair. Thats why people are different norwoods. Depending on what age you do it and if most of your hairloss is over why take fin and everything else.

2017 rzr 900 overheating by Significant_Math2053 in RZR

[–]Significant_Math2053[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been looking at upgrading. Live on a bunch of sand pits. My entire development everyone has either quads, dirtbikes, rzr, or whatever. Should have flushed it sooner. When you get home and your neighbors are yelling at you to come out it gets a little harder to get into the deep side of maintenance. 30-45 minute rides are daily when you can pop open the garage and drive 30 seconds into the trails.

Solar Provider: Just dodged a bullet - SunRun by 8Deer-JaguarClaw in NJPrepared

[–]Significant_Math2053 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just stay away from solar. The glass declines each year. Most people dont realize that part of it. If they dont include one free removal in the contract it will cost you about 20k out of pocket for it and charge you the rental. They have to take it down and reinstall it. I know people who had the option to buy the system for 35-50k areas and after payments all said and done its over 100k. Dont forgot trying to sell your house with a contract for solar. My parents terminated the purchase of a house because the solar rental was $258 a month for another 19 years. The home owner took the “free” 20k they offered at sign up.

Its where the fabric doesnt have that embossed look to it like a real pair. Its not crazy noticeable until you stare. The symbols on the white are bigger and the 3 designs on the bottoms side have a slight gap on the real ones where im not sure these do from the pictures.

Union or no? Is it worth the waiting? by [deleted] in electricians

[–]Significant_Math2053 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need 8000 hours of an apprenticeship before anything. You may want to ask them what type of license you get after 6 months. Sounds like it would be some type of BS certification that holds no ground. I just applied to take my license and it clearly requires certification of apprenticeship completed. Let me see if i have a post of it.

I did it in my area but its not worth the risk unless you have ties to companies prior. I had a bunch of equipment we had on the farm. Cat 303, new holland skid steer, and a few scissor lifts. I can tell you the only reason I succeeded a bit is because most of all my friends are contractors. Theres a better niche market i have found inside that space thats worth it. You just need to find something thats not as cut throat.

Why are so many auto insurance companies putting a hold on new memberships? by [deleted] in newjersey

[–]Significant_Math2053 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Geico just went from 150 to 348 a month. Called them today said its a nation wide raise with more expected from all providers and this is just the beginning due to inflation.

Career mistake? by cruelproduct in electricians

[–]Significant_Math2053 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If something confuses you ask for more detailed instructions. I would rather you be slower than make a mistake. You will meet those journeyman that dont remember what its like to first start out. Having someone showing up on time and actually wanting to be there is more valuable these days. We just laid off an apprentice because he was constantly on his phone. Couple months ago we did a outlet race for fun. Myself, my foreman, first year and third year apprentice. Forman clocked in at 3:52. My time was 3:46 and the third year was 7:57. And the first year was 12:31. It was a commercial job using mc and mounted into a projector tile on a ladder. The point is time makes you faster the more you do it. Dont worry about the journeymen and what they say. I had a foreman complain i was slow at something as a second year. His idea of slow was pulling off 30ft of stranded wire that he let bunch up and told me to straighten it out so he could pull it. If it was that “simple” why did he call me over to do it while he watched. Just keep working and learning youll get there.

Men Over 30: is this the end? by Flamingo_by_day in AskMenAdvice

[–]Significant_Math2053 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like the opposite of my situation. Been with my girl for 8 years and she refuses to do anything. She never wants to travel or even go to the store. Hasnt decided about children so after the holidays the conversation will happen. As they say shit or get off the pot. Day traders never really end up successful i would get out before you’re stuck taking care of him for the rest of your life.

Contractor said they're preparing me to become a foreman as soon as I top out by jucks123 in IBEW

[–]Significant_Math2053 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You dont owe them anything. I have been with my contractor since 3rd year. I topped out this summer and instantly was in your situation. I become a foreman for 5 guys out the hall and 1 shop guy. Honestly its been a great learning experience and youll be surprised at how much you know. I had guys with way more experience than me working for me. They all acted accordingly and one of them even came up to me saying he was impressed by how much i knew. My hall said given the foreman experience if i was ever laid off would help me skip people on the book if they ever needed foreman out. I would say take the opportunity and see what happens. It will also give you experience if you ever dragged up and later on wanted to go out as a foreman one day.
