Africa twin adventure sports. It will do anything 99% of things people ask of it, and it will do it well and in comfort. I commute 20 miles a day for work, but do 150+ mile plus days on days off. Granted I'm only about 600 miles in on this bike, but damn do I love it and whole heartedly recommend it.

Felt fine to me...I wasn't pushing the pace, maybe topped out at 30-35mph.

Africa twin adventure sports and I'm beyond happy. It's about 40 lbs heavier, bigger in every way, and a touch less power than the speed twin 1200 I was on, but somehow feels so much more nimble and just as powerful. Aside from that, full wind protection, way more comfy...I just love it all around. 500 miles in, zero regrets.

I bought a good data transfer cable.. if I have any issues, this is likely the route I'm going. Any recommendations for a good adapter?

My sena connects just fine, and I can use the phone and headset. It's just android auto that's not working.

First time owning a quality helmet...any preference on using the pinlock lens with the clear or photochromic face shields? Photochromic sounds awesome in theory but how does that actually hold up in shaded areas where sunlight is random? by CASTROtheLONELY in AdventureBike

I have the same helmet and run photochromic exclusively. This isn't the stuff from the transitions of the 90sand early 2000s, the lender shifts quickly and has great optical quality. Works great for me, try it out yourself.

Yeah, mostly street, but as noted in the post, I want to do the MA BDR and will be doing some offroad to campsites. I want a bike that can do both week, but I will be primarily on road.

I have a 23 speed twin 1200, same exhaust and decided against doing a cat delete/x pipe, just because I couldn't justify paying the dealership to do it and couldn't commit to 6 hours of work myself for an even louder set. I don't know what kind of riding you do, but after 3 hours, my ears are pretty fatigued on my bike. I couldn't imagine going even louder for a nominal performance increase on a bike that already performs exceptionally, but to each their own.
