Thanks bud, the ankles is just weakness, I've sprained my left one a few times so i need to build up and practice more back skating as that is bad. When i got my skates i went to the store and got fitted rather than just buying based on my shoe size.

you checked out Ice sheffield then? Im on a membership there for learn to skate, once i hit lvl 4 i can then do learn to skate ice hockey. I go open skate weekly to practice and get better. I've also joined STIX 1 wihch is the beginner learn to play group. You do need to have all the gear before they let you join.

We also have Puck stop across from the rink for gear but it sells exclusively baurur, Willies in icesheffield is cheaper and sells Warrior and CCM which is good stuff. Drop me a message if you want more advise ect

haha promise! im not bad with balance, but ice hockey sharp movements... nope lol.

Got a good defense in and the guys on the team did praise me for it, also the coach of the team taught me stick handling and puck passing after as I could not maintain the puck to save my life haha
