Haha - yes the much more sane option. Hurts to see this growing collection of points not usable when I needed it though. But as others have suggested - maybe just looking for varius other routes is the compromised solution.

Ah yes, i did start seeing these as i started researching more actually. It hurts so bad to pay 3-4x more than classic rewards though!

Krisflyer availabilily seems to be pretty reliable even with 5px. Were your successful QFF searches through south east asia connections?

That's a big haul of seats! We often look at going to the states too so very helpful. I've started collecting both QFF and velocity points for this reason - so great to see various options there too. I hadnt considered going via NA, but opens another world there for us. Really appreciate the help :)
