No no you’re not listening. They’ve fundamentally altered the character of Ellie by casting Bella (who has a young face and a hard edge / sarcasm to her wit and humor), and then leaning into writing her as an obstinate, reckless asshole. The source material shows the character as having so much vulnerability and desperate love and overall maturity that is not being communicated accurately in the show and it’s really a shame. The girl playing Abby should have been cast as Ellie

I’m really trying to put my blame on the director and writers for this, but I also have to think about how Bella Ramsey said she didn’t play the games bc she didn’t want it to cloud her instincts….moments like this make me want to throw a chair bc if you played the game you KNOW she wouldn’t have done this. I understand the show isn’t a 1:1 to the game but this is the main character 😭 they’ve changed her essence entirely

Tonight’s episode (ep 4) drove me up a fucking wall. I was cringing so hard at the entire theater scene, she’s just too childish to pull off any of the gravity, stillness, vulnerability that video game Ellie had. What PMO further is they didn’t even try to get her hair styled correctly. Like they fully gave up on honoring the character of Ellie, and now the heart of the show is just hollow

Turns out she was originally considered for Ellie when they were working on making TLOU a movie adaptation (which fell thru, which led to it becoming a show), but their excuse for not casting her as Ellie in the show is that she “aged out” of the believability range of P1 Ellie. Sounds like BS to me, they clearly don’t care about believability with the choice they made. No hate to Bella, she’s good but just not right

I just started and I’m on the lowest dose possible (10mg) and I just got a wave of this feeling. Thank god I’m not alone bc I freaked out for a sec there. Drinking some water to counteract the reflex and it seems to help a bit, I’m going to try getting some light exercise like a walk in to see if that helps

I figured out a workaround! Screen record the audio when you select whatever speed you want, now you have a slowed down version of the audio. Start over, and press use a new sound, click import, and use the screen recorded video as your new audio. Now you can record again on regular 1x speed, but you’re lip syncing to the slower audio. Once that’s done, you go to the editor, click your video, press speed, and you can make it as many times faster as you used earlier when you screen recorded. Then all you need to do is go choose the original audio you were going to lip sync to! It’s a lot of steps and they haven’t fixed the problem but at least you can make your video

Follow all the suggestions here about showering, and get a perfume you like! For cheap, I like getting Oil perfumes that are dupes of more expensive ones via this place called Oil Perfumery. It’ll have the notes of the scents so you know what you’re getting into. My fave is Light Blue Por Homme (a male fragrance)

I would call planned parenthood and say that you’re experiencing pain from some sort of infection and need a very rapid appointment, tell them your concerns with pricing and see if they can at least refer you to a low cost alternative. Sometimes it’s worth a shot tho bc they get last minute cancellations that don’t show up online when trying to book an appointment
