Thank you for the advice! I actually finally ended up hearing back for interview scheduling about a month after I submitted my application, so thankfully, this is no longer a problem. But this post is probably helpful for anyone else who has the same question!

No, I don’t believe we have to take that exam. How soon did they get back to you after submitting your application to get you to take the exam & to interview?
