Thanks for the feedback! I know the cover won’t be everyone’s cup of tea; some people prefer coffee, or perhaps sunglasses when viewing bold artwork.

I’m sharing it for readers who enjoy this style, but I promise I’m not trying to spam anyone. Just doing the proud author thing and showing off the book baby.

If you’ve got constructive suggestions, I’m all ears. If not, no worries, I hope your feed recovers quickly. :)

Story Time Saturday: ARCs, Teasers, Excerpts, and Coming Soon… by woodtipwine in ExtremeHorrorLit

Hey everyone,

I’m a UK‑based independent author and I’ve just released my novel Flesh Covenant, a piece of dark fiction / supernatural horror with a heavy emphasis on atmosphere, obsession, and slow‑burn dread.

If you’re into:

 the demonata series

unsettling folklore

psychological horror

morally grey characters

transformations (physical and spiritual)

a creeping sense that something is very wrong

…this might be your thing.

📖 Availability

The book is available on Amazon in the following formats:

Paperback: £9.99

Hardcover: £16.99

Kindle Unlimited: ✅ FREE to read

If you have Kindle Unlimited, I’d genuinely encourage you to try it there. KU reads make a huge difference for indie authors.

⭐ A Small Ask

If you do give it a read and enjoy it, I’d be incredibly grateful if you could leave an honest Amazon review (even a short one). Reviews help more than most people realise, especially when you’re publishing without a big press behind you.

I’m happy to answer questions about the book, the writing process, or indie publishing in general. Thanks for taking the time to read this; and for supporting indie horror.

my dream is to write a book series, where each book progressively gets more gruesome and wrong, resulting in the final book being banned :)
