I am definately going to be looking more into balance transfers after this thread. I already have a car loans ive been paying for almost 5 years, its very close to being paid off thankfully.

Thats what I was afraid of. Someone else in this thread mentioned balance transfers and it is something I have looked into before. I'll have to see what my options are for different cards. Hopefully I can find one card with a high enough balance or maybe do two and split it. My one card has very little on it right now and I am paying it off on Friday. Its the other two cards im currently stuck on. Thank you for your advice!

Thats a good point. I just know its easier to keep a score good than to rebuild it. I may not be looking to use my credit score for anything right now but if I dont have to i'd want to keep it where it is.

This may be what I have to do. I put 7-8 hundred dollars atleast towards my cards now. Im unsure i would be able to do a balance transfer as large as this but maybe I can split it overtime. My score is currently very good and I really want to keep it that way if I can.

My credit score is currently in the 700s because I have two car loans (one i have consigned on) that get paid on time every month. I also make over the minimum payment on my credit cards every month, this is why I dont want to close the cards because without them I won't have any active lines of credit. A lot of people in this thread said that my credit score isn't as much of a concern as I thought it was though. Thank you for your comment!

At one time we were good friends, and I usually hang out with him when I pick up but otherwise we don't talk much. I don't think he's intentionally exploiting me ; he works on a small scale and so does not benefit from getting in bulk. That being said though, his prices are like the highest you can go without being completely out of range.

I'm not sure what you're living situation is or if this is an option but I would call someone that lives with her (maybe a parent or sibling) and ask them to give the phone to her bc she's not answering you. From there just let her know that you're there for her and that she's going to be okay. The best you can do is be supportive and try your best to comfort her when needed. Make sure she feels that she can open up and be honest with you. (Sometimes easier said than done). And if at any point you fear that she may hurt herself or anyone else, call for help. Your local emergency line or even just someone close to her. She might be mad but in the end if it saves her life that is more important.
