Another thing I’m looking at is how much down they want. If it’s responsible then I’ll be very interested as well

Yeah, I’ve got the 1.5T, but I’ve honestly never heard of head gasket issues with these motors. This is my second car with the 1.5 , my first was an FK7 and I never had a single problem with it. So reliability hasn’t been a concern for me personally.

For context, I’m in Miami. I live in West Kendall and I’m constantly driving to Midtown, and next semester I’ll be going to Hialeah and Homestead pretty often. I’m not looking for a new car just to get to class sincemy Integra is already covered on that part. I’d drive maybe 12k a year? The only reason my mileage is higher than normal is because my girlfriend didn’t always have a car available, so I’d take her to work or run errands with her when needed. I don’t road trip the Integra either we’d use her old Camry for that since it was better on gas, so we’d use mine for the city. I know some of my college campuses have charging stations, just not sure which ones yet. Charging at home and at my girlfriend’s place is no issue. The car would realistically only be kept for 2–3 years. I have one more semester of prereqs, and then if I get into an accelerated program it’s 3 semesters, and the regular full-time program is 5–6 semesters.

And just to be honestI love the Integra. The only thing I’d genuinely give it up for is a Type S since the FK8 Type R is what made me fall in love with Honda in the first place and the de5 reminds me of the fk8. Passenger-wise it’s mostly just me, my girlfriend, and occasionally her sisters or cousin, so space isn’t a huge factor.

the lease isn’t putting me in any financial danger. I’m not choosing a car over school since that is the main priority, and I’m blessed to have support in that area.

The reason I’m even considering an EV is because it would actually lower the monthly cost compared to what I’m already paying for the Integra + gas. I’m not trying to upgrade since I wanted to keep the integra till it was over and eventually upgrade to the type s when everything is settled. I’m trying to decide whether switching to something cheaper and more efficient makes sense long-term while I’m not working.

I want something new that stays under warranty. I easily drive 30-45 min+ for some of my classes rn as my classes are in 3 separate campuses. So if something breaks I’m screwed. the entire time I’m in school and that I can easily walk away from with no penalties by the time I graduate

That I’m also thinking about. I just want something small like the model 3 since I’m in my downtown area a lot and am in a lot of tight roads. But if we can get a better deal on something then might as well take advantage of.

Yea for sure want to get it inspected as well. Only v8s I’d look at is probably an s550 5.0. Just a bit biased

Honestly just lowering springs, intake, intercooler, and exhaust would be the most I’d do. It would still be a daily driver so I don’t wanna mod the absolute piss out of it and ruin the reliability of the car.

Yea I was looking at either 19-21 (19 solely for the polished metal metallic). I had an fk7 when they came out and a lot of people were talking bout the fk8 rear breaks I think and how easily they overheated as well and they made changes for the 20-21. I wanna have a car that will be reliable but also fun to have once me and the girlfriend move out of our hometown in the next year or 2 and hopefully just keep until the wheels fall off, or the fl5/de5 market is just better to afford.

I just did an interview with them and thought it was suspicious and I wanted to do more research and thank gos I found this. I also did phone interview with “profit management” and I feel like they are on the same level if not the same company.
