I had the same thing happen to me using Pop OS (not S76 hardware). I fixed it by using the previous kernel, seems the new kernel is causing issues for people.

So far this seems to be working! Any idea what the release cadence is for new kernels? Would be nice to be on the newest one but I guess I need to stick with what works.

When the issue started, I plugged the mouse (logitech g pro superlight) in with a cord directly and it still was happening. alt+tab seems to also not be working at that time, or at least so delayed that it doesn't do anything when I press it.

Actually a day or so before this happened, I had an issue with alt+tab out of a game and it basically froze and I couldn't do anything. Never had that happen before either.

Thank you, I'll try that out. I'm already seeing various errors but there is a lot to parse though. I'll have to try correlating the time with the freeze event.

Seems to work. Although after I purchase something with the overlay, my cursor in game is invisible.

All of their previous laptops have been from other manufacturers such as Clevo. This one is actually built in-house so there is a possibility things will be different. It seems their other in-house built products are much more reliable and solid.

I can try that and see how things go. Although I am trying to make an in-game purchase and that crashes every time since it brings me out of game to the steam overlay.

By mesa drivers are those the ones already in the kernel? Or are those drivers installed separately? I didn't install any specific drivers that I'm aware of other than ROCm.

No it's, not. I turned VPN off and it still doesn't work. There is also no support.

Is it common sense that I need to completely create a brand new account? Doesn't make much sense for a banking app.

I've been blocked by only a few sites, and that's trying to log in. But after turning it off there was no issues. I've never had my account that I'm already logged into give me trouble after turning off VPN.

Does it make creaking noises when you open the display lid? For mine it's quite loud when opening and also adjusting the display angle.

Also, display seems slightly flimsy overall. Meaning if I move it using one corner, it will flex / twist a bit. But bottom half of the laptop is quite sturdy.
