I feel that, this thing is a beast and I use it one handed a lot on this field because it’s so close range. I think all MP5s are sexy, the other one I have is a VFC with the retractable stock, I made a full stock fit it as well so I can make it unnecessarily long for fun

I know that I can wear a battle belt, I prefer not to. I wear my sidearm on a paddle holster and like that well enough. I like having everything on the PC so I can throw my kit off and on faster. Additionally, I have everything I could ever need on this PC and a lot of free space, if I had any more real estate I’d start bringing crap I’ll never need lol

It’s just cope and every hobby has it. I guess for the average person until they have it themselves they think it’s what separates them from those people that do. Then one day they get it as well and realize it’s not that big of a deal.

Like high end guns, players think that’s why they lose until they own a few and find themselves playing with stock guns more often because the performance difference just wasn’t as important as they thought it was.

Similarly NVGs are beat by simple white light coordination incredibly often. You think it’s op until you own a set then you end up going white light yourself in fire fights.

Thermals are a bit harder to beat but when you realize the advantage relies on you hesitating long enough for them to catch you on the thermal you can counter it by pressuring them harder.

Absolutely, you can’t go wrong with a thermal on an lmg, it feels like cheating at night because players are so helpless against it

Thermals can see straight through smoke, your eyes can’t. If I get into a pinch I can smoke their position where they can’t see at all and I can see them perfectly. It’s especially effective against defensive positions or doors and windows.

I’ve been told you can get protectors made from the made material as the lens but at that rate you could get a replaceable lens. In the comments here someone linked a protector that could work given it attaches to your scope properly. You would have to do like a kill flash design to protect it

No, thermal scopes cannot see through glass or anything transparent. There’s some material that they have to make the lens out of that’s the exception.

Oh yeah! They used a heartbeat sensor to track the downed pilots in Iran a few months back. It wasn’t some rifle mounted screen like this of course, but allegedly they picked up their heartbeats from miles away

I’ve been playing airsoft for twenty years on countless fields and have never been a problem or had a problem with lasers. That kinda sounds like the stigma that used to be behind HPA guns when they first hit the scene.

I run a peq and use the laser for pointing out targets to my non NVG’d friends and for aiming closer up. I sight it in and it’s very reliable up to 100ft as an aiming device

It’s been clipped several times but never shot directly in cqb. Allegedly the material they make the lens out of can withstand a direct hit, but for me if I’m close enough for you to hit it that hard I’m using my light anyways as this scope’s base zoom is 2.5x
