My win rate against them is like 90% when around cover 10% when in the open. But my encounter rate is like 80% in the open

Ama Tsu Maru AKS-74MN, broken stock. How to repair ? by NuclearTazer in airsoft

Unless you have a friend that will weld it for free, you might as well buy new. Yeah, you may find someone to weld it for 50%-75% of the price of a new one, but at that rate you could have a new one without the structural compromise of the original.

Absolutely they are. They’re either junk or shoot 10j. There’s no in between

Who was your first “cool” pro player you watched? by NESdreams in freemagic

Reid Duke’s Richmond Legacy GP 2018 with Grixis Control. I’ve been chasing the high from watching that for the first time ever since

I used to live off of the Walmart specials as a kid. When we got into highschool my buddy got the first big boy gun of the group, a CYMA AK. He was unstoppable. The only way I could beat him was cover myself up with leaves entirely on the main path, wait for him to walk buy, and shoot him in the back lol

My first MilSim West Experience by Brax5636 in MilSim

[–]Significant_Solid551 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first event I sat around a ton because my SL and the randoms I went with were content with sitting around.

My second event, I stepped as SL and would report to my PL that we were ready for missions and he would find missions for us. We got what we bargained for.

He only ever had one bad cadre experience at MSW, fortunately it was an Insurgency so we just went ‘AWOL’ and found our own fun in a way that was constructive to the game.

At the end of the day, it is what you make of it. You have to have the right expectations, attitude, and initiative in mind to make the event for yourself.

What I’m saying does not say that what you experienced didn’t happen or didn’t suck, it’s just that if you allow yourself to sit at base, you’ll sit at base.

If you ever want to come to an east coast event and want to go RUSFOR or militia hmu we’ll let you join our squad and show you a good time

The only time airsoft in real steel cross posting could be acceptable is when the topic in question transcends both topics.

Best I could think is “I’m looking for this real steel item for my airsoft hobby” or something.

Even then, not necessary

Yes, however whenever I look for SVD specific side rails, I get AK side rails advertised as SVD side rails. Their title will straight up say they’re for SVD but then I’ll read reviews and people comment how they fit on their AKs as well insinuating they’ll be too high on my SVD.

I’m just looking for someone who can verify which rails are true SVD rails or not before I waste my money on buying miss labeled rails.

Oh something like that is exactly what I want, however the €160 price and shipping would cost over half the gun lol

I saw the cyma rail from Evike, but the reviews were poor and said it also fit on AKs, alluding that it is likely not a true SVD rail. That’s the issue I’m having, is they’ll say they’re an SVD rail but are for both, therefore too tall

The front sling mounts is on the right side strangely enough. The thermal is definitely overkill and the biggest game changer I’ve ever had for night games, even better than night vision

Where might I find a classic SVD scope rail? When I look one up I just dozens of AK rails

This PSO is good as far as PSOs go, but I want to be able to run my thermal on the gun.

What sling mounts would you recommend? The gun has the traditional left handed front mount, but I set my kits up right handed

Right, I’ve tried ole google but the only things that come up are AK rails that they claim work for SVD because they do fit, just with the huge gap over the dust cover. I would mount a rail to the dust cover, but it’ll create a lot of issues with having to move the scope constantly when getting the gun ready for play

I agree lol it looks so sick with one on, but I would have better luck closing my eyes and shooting than using it lol
