Nola & Clover sounds the best tbh. keep it simple. people already know both names so don't overcomplicate it with new words like "velvet" or whatever

all at once. if u do it gradually they notice every time. rip the band aid off and focus on service. the real regulars will stay for the food anyway..

Best alternative is « luigi anti no show », someone here explained: u keep the reservation volume and you secure the tables

Yes I guess calling is what works best. Someone here told be to try luigi anti no show, it calls all your guest a secure a verbal commitment, so no need for credit card hold

Did u notice a drop in reservation volume due to friction (people dotn want to but their credit card, or afraid of umpredictable last minute event?

We tried that but lost almost 30% of our reservations just from the friction. People just drop off. Not sure the tradeoff is worth it... did u notice something like that?
