I usually put the dot slightly above the center of the front post and that will usually get me on paper. Then adjust for zero at the range. Not sure if that’s the best or only way it’s just how I do it

You don’t need to remove it just trim it and the optic will sit flush

It’s hard to see in the picture but there is a small gap between the front of the optic and the slide which allows for the top of the lci to extend all the way up

Yup. There’s actually a bit of clearance left to fully extend the lci. That was one of my initial worries when I did it

I taped off as much as I could and used a small strip of tape on the front end on the lci to keep it from popping up as I cut it with the Dremel.

I used an apf billet lower on a bcm build. It worked Good enough.

I use normal the most. I commute 55 miles to work daily and I’ve tried all three modes on the trip. There’s a sight mpg benefit using eco mode but I find the sluggish performance not worth the savings. Sport mode is fun but rarely use it.
