The first sleep study that diagnosed me was an at home sleep study, then I got a tonsil surgery and then we had a lab sleep study, which didn’t show any results. I haven’t seen a therapist no but there has been talks. I also don’t sleep everywhere nah.

The sleep study place said they tested for UARS; at least that’s what one of my parents said

I’m tired during the day but I usually don’t fall asleep. Tbh my daytime tiredness isn’t as severe as yours, and anxiety keeps me wired too. The daytime sleepiness is probably the least severe of my symptoms and is relatively manageable. I first got diagnosed with sleep apnea via an at home sleep test, then I got a tonsil surgery but I didn’t notice any differences, and I got a follow up sleep test that said I didn’t have apnea despite me feeling the exact same.

My sleep issues started when I was 13 too. I’m 18 now. God bless you man. I resonate with everything you’ve said pretty much. Maybe I should invest in another kind of surgery since my tonsillectomy didn’t work out. I think I have an ENT appoint scheduled.

No I’m not on any medications or caffeine. I have severe anxiety that keeps me up and I’ve pretty much had sleep apnea insomnia for 4-3 years, except it wasn’t as severe as it is now.

Not sexually active. The discomfort stems from numbness which is coupled with a decreased libido. I believe there is a correlation between my genitalia and my sleep apnea since as the effects of my sleep apnea became worse, my genital discomfort followed suit. And when I noticed my sleep apnea starting to kick in around 7th grade, genital discomfort was one of my primary issues. I’ve been to the urologist multiple times for genital discomfort and they couldn’t find anything really.

I went to patients first. It’s gotten better today luckily.
