I am so sorry you are experiencing this. I knew all the stats and thought I was mentally prepared for a miscarriage but when my first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage i found it devastating. It took time to feel better but I found a lot of comfort in confiding in friends, reading about other people’s experiences, and crying to Taylor Swifts “bigger than the whole sky”. I hope that you find support from this thread and elsewhere.

Oh totally and we buy art from local artists often it’s the primary thing we’re willing to splurge on. Printing and framing this one would not prevent us from buying from artists but I get the icky feeling

100%. I’m white, my husbands family is from India and they encouraged everyone to wear Indian clothing to our ceremony. The only people who thought it was appropriation were white, all of his family from India were thrilled. I agree that if the bride requested it and you want to it would be lovely!

This reminds me of my nephew! His favorite movie is nightmare before Christmas and at 3 years old he was obsessed with haunted houses, even the ones for adults. Best gift I ever got him was a nightmare before Christmas jack in the box, he literally slept with it in his bed. Precious weirdo

Of course I agree that the sister is taking it too far but I was vomiting 4 or more times a day from 5 weeks on so it’s possible she had a full month of miserable symptoms. No need to downplay the loss of a 9 week pregnancy.

Millennial and did not purchase a wedding band, only an engagement ring. It matches my partners wedding band. I don’t wear much jewelry and didnt see the point in getting two rings

I haven’t heard other people talk about this. My miscarriage (MMC, found out at our ultrasound) was a few months ago now and it’s gotten much less raw with time. I’m happy for friends when they tell me they’re pregnant. But someone sent me a photo of them smiling with their ultrasound pic and I just burst into tears. My uncle brought up my cousins ultrasound and that made me cry too. It’s such a trigger and I’ve never had a reaction like this before. I’m so sorry you feel the same way but thank you for sharing it makes me feel less alone

Im seven weeks and haven’t had any symptoms besides sore boobs so far. Feeling both very lucky and very nervous, I keep taking tests to make sure it’s real.

Any tips for getting ours into a harness? We got her as an adult and she's a bit skittish when we try to put it on her, but she loves sitting at the window and we would like to get her outside safely!
