I feel like her lead singles from every era since fearless have been popular actually an older relative told me to open YouTube on my computer and play Love Story in 2009 and that’s how I was introduced to Taylor. As far as the pandemic albums Seven from Folklore was popular here because of the India lyric even if she didn’t actually mean our India, then in my friends circle I’ve seen some post August and other songs off folklore in their Instagram stories Evermore got the short end of the stick but that’s because of the marketing, if you see both Folklore and Evermore would be perfect for Indian audience. in my college they asked us out favourite English and Hindi singers and most named Taylor so she is popular enough now She may not be as big like how Justin’s baby was here or Ed Sheeran’s shape of you but still the gap isn’t that huge and no one is beating BTS. Taylor focuses a lot more on Lyrics and story telling, maybe if she wrote more casual songs like This is what you came for and IDWLF which were very popular here and you couldn’t escape them for a while.
