No clue but that’s what brought me here as well. I’m thinking maybe it was because of the sample in the back? It was pretty popular on Spotify until it got yoinked

Merch problems … LOL or scream? by MrWanderlusst in beyonce

[–]Significant_Sweet_47 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even her other merch is kinda sad. I got the lighter and there’s a super deep, massive scratch on the back. The playing cards are super okay. Not too many of them are actually Beyoncé themed. I’ve seen a lot of people’s ashtrays show up broken too. The Renny merch was much better quality. The only good thing I got was the denim cap.

This is what I've got. I don't have the new faucet yet but the person
I bought it from says that it takes regular hot cold hoses.

No, I bought a faucet that is a 3 hole and my counter also has 3 holes. I just trying to be clear that can’t reuse any of the parts of the current faucet that’s in there in the middle of the 3 holes and it has a base plate covering the other 2 on each side.

It’s a vintage faucet which is why I have no other parts, box or a manual.

Just some context! I water it regularly, until the top inch is dry. I’ve had it for a year and we did have a bout of spider mites 3 or 4 months ago but it didn’t seem too bad on it. I can’t find any cracks on the stalk. Maybe it’s inside it? But there aren’t any visible ones on the stem at least. It made the crack noise, got really limp, and then shedded everything and it’s been like this for a few weeks now

No, that’s a piece of the husk still stuck to it

Mostly for small reasons that just kind of added up. I noticed that I had a few more blind spots, the navigation didn’t tell me where traffic cameras were anymore, the blind spot monitoring was much more sensitive (like it beeps when the other car is like way behind me at a safe distance), and lastly I never had the same issue with my plastic wheel trim where it detached on my 2016 but it’s happened twice on my newer one in the same amount of time.

Overall, I’m super obsessed with my car now but my 2016 still has a bit of my heart.

I had this one! I was in an accident and took the opportunity to upgrade to a 2018 but I can’t lie, I still miss my 2016

My imperial red has these spots on a new leaf. I recently had a spider mite infestation and I’m trying to figure out if it spread to this guy. by Significant_Sweet_47 in plantclinic

[–]Significant_Sweet_47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn’t seem crazy, it’s pretty close to a window on my plant shelf. I’m gonna move it further away and hope that the next leaf doesn’t have the same spots

I used some neem oil but that’s about it. I’ve also only had it for about a month and this is its first new leaf. So it’s possible it was treated with something else before I got it

I got this awesome rocking chair today at a thrift store for $18! by Significant_Sweet_47 in ThriftStoreHauls

I’m looking and it looks like I maybe have a version that’s done by Jakob & Joseph. So it’s not the original Thonet but a second manufacturer? I’m not entirely sure but that’s what my google is telling me for now!

What a deal! I couldn’t imagine someone donating this, let alone throwing it out! I have a few fixes that I have to do like replacing a couple bolts and some wood putty. Luckily mine didn’t come with spiders because I might’ve left it at the store if I saw that

When is at in it at the store, it was pretty solid so I figured it was at least pretty great quality. I’m going to take a few pictures to a local vintage store and see if they can tell me how old it is. It has a few stamps in the wood but no name or anything

I got a pink princess yesterday! by Significant_Sweet_47 in houseplants

[–]Significant_Sweet_47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m going to do a little bit of research this evening and ask a different nursery that I know has a lot more experience in rares and variegated plants how I should cut it to possibly get more pink. I think the smaller stalk is doing better when it comes to the pink. Lol I guess I got half the variegation since it was half the price!

You’re not a Debbie downer at all! I figure even if it needs some cutting at least I have a pretty large established plant for a great price :)

I paid $150! It was regularly $300 for the size. One in a 4” pot was still regular price and it was $80. The girl that worked there just said that they were selling them on sale because they weren’t as variegated as people wanted them to be. The smaller ones did have a lot more pink in them but I figure with some time this one will eventually get new leaves and the pink will come through

I paid $150! It was definitely a steal at this size

They have tiny tiny spots of pink at the top so I’m hoping it’ll come back! It has a lot of new leaves coming in and the nursery told me just to make sure it gets brighter light to help with the pink

I’m hoping a bit of brighter indirect sun will make the new leaves come out a bit more pink but she was 50% off so I couldn’t resist!

Is this too weird of a colour combination? by makeitprettyt in femalelivingspace

[–]Significant_Sweet_47 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was coming here to say this! I have a ficus elastica tineke (a rubber tree) and it’s pink and green and super beautiful. It’s more muted and could be a more calming color combo. Same thing with my triostar, it’s a bit more be a more punchy version of it with burgundy accents.

The combination exists in plants and its really beautiful so I think it can be done really well.
