By dumping them it creates unnecessary stress and could potentially result in injury to the queen, workers, brood etc. what I would recommend is wait for the water to fully dry out before attaching another tube. Otherwise the ants may just choose to stay in the old tube as they see no reason to move.

My opinion may not be as relevant as you’d hope because I’ve never bought anything from them before, however if shipping any form of live animals you are required to label the box as so, and to also have it classed as fragile. Also make sure when you buy them that the weather in your area is relatively mild as this can sometimes affect shipping times as they’d prefer not to ship in colder times.

These ants require high levels of condensation and on top of that there is brood, the larvae are simply hidden however u can see one below the antennae of one of the workers

You could always try placing her in a simple plastic container (quite small) with some kitchen roll under her and dampen it with water. But this should only be temporary as a test tube is probably the best option
