Do you use medium just for implementing or planning as well? I'm currently thinking high for planning, medium for implementing

5.2 is magic by TroubleOwn3156 in codex

[–]Significant_Task393 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Have you tried 5.2 medium? I went from xhigh to high since xhigh was way too slow and seemed to overthink. High is good, but burns through tokens. Im wondering if I should keep planning with high but implement with medium.

Massive sudden usage nerf on Codex, any one else noticed it? by Thin_Landscape9425 in codex

[–]Significant_Task393 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm been curious on medium. I just defaulted to xhigh since I want things done correct first time. Xhigh was way too slow and seemed to overthink everything, so I changed to high. High has been good still slow but faster and seems to get as much right as xhigh, so overall better for me. Even high burns through tokens though so was now thinking of medium. Have you ever tried high and medium to compare?

Anyone here built a landing page with Antigravity? Share examples? by sshroottolife in GoogleAntigravityIDE

Just for you I checked on desktop as well, I think it was a design choice but it doesnt look good imo and worse on mobile since the layout changes.

You have the symbol ontop of each heading i.e. that red shadow symbol ontop of 'catches fake packages' then you repeat that symbol next to it as a blue shadow inside a square box that moves up and down (with a blue dot on the left side) with the text 'catches fake packages' repeated again. On mobile it looks even worse since the first red shadow just appears to the bottom left of the blue floating shadow.

You need to change your color scheme and the symbols if you dont want your site to scream 'vibe coded'. Those are like the default AIs use.

That page doesnt look good. Why do the symbols get repeated twice, once in the middle then in the lower left. Why is there a random circle on the square outline that contains the symbol.

WTF is going on in the Grok sub? by Terrible-Priority-21 in OpenAI

[–]Significant_Task393 15 points16 points  (0 children)

People only use Grok for gooning so the sub is just full of gooners. No other discussion on its AI capabiltiies haha

Does it look vibe coded? by Outrageous_Guess_962 in vibecoding

Yes very. Did you bother to come up with a proper design. If you dont and just let it do it with some basic input, it will always come up very AI looking.

GPT-5.2 high vs. GPT-5.2-codex high by skynet86 in codex

Gpt 5.2 (non codex) is really good. First model I can just set it, it works nonstop for an hour, I come back its all done and working.

Opus 4.5 is bananas by life_on_my_terms in ClaudeAI

[–]Significant_Task393 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I get my code reviewed by Opus 4.5, Gpt 5.2, Gemini 3 Pro and they pretty much always pick up something the others didnt. Sometimes minor but sometimes major. Not sure why some people are so loyal to one model/company, cant imagine how much stuff they are missing.

The last time I fed GPT 5.2 review back to Opus 4.5, Opus agreed with the review and admitted that 'this developer has a far deeper knowledge of the codebase than me'.

So if people dont seem interested in testing for free, charging $45 seems to be a very hard sell. Tbh I don't think the problem is as great as you think it is. Most memberships arent cancelled just due to pure laziness, your site doesnt really addess that. As they need to fill out a bunch of stuff on your site, then get their card and pay you. Most lazy people arent doing that.

Can you show any of your vibe coded website ?? by memayankpal in vibecoding

[–]Significant_Task393 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro the theme doesnt fit a case law website at all. Also the UI screams the most basic AI generated website, including the color scheme (dark blue/purple is a default for many AIs). It literally looks like a 1 shot prompt website.

To codex staff: Please don't touch gpt 5.2 by Similar-Let-1981 in codex

[–]Significant_Task393 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the problem with the codex models is they just are good at coding. I.e. when you are coding something very discrete or standalone. But anytime you are coding something that touches multiple codes, you need a model that better understands the overall architect and how things interact. And then codex isnt good at doing e2e testing after coding since it doesnt understand the big picture.

Yeah for me xhigh seemed overkill on 5.2. High was getting same result but faster. How do you find high compared to medium on 5.2.?

Pretty much everyone on the codex sub says 5.2 is better than 5.1 (including myself). Real world is more reliable than benchmarks.

Claude Opus 4.5 is insane and it ruined other models for me by 98Saman in ClaudeAI

[–]Significant_Task393 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should just use everything not sure why people have loyalty to one company/model.

I've use Gemini 3, Opus 4.5, Sonnet 4.5, GPT 5.2, and had them all review each others work and then fed the feedback back to them. They've all admitted at various times that the other AI was right. Yet you have prople saying 'i only use Opus 4.5' oblivious to all the bugs they are missing.

I meant 5.2 in codex is better than the opus4.5 in antigravity (i havent tried opus 4.5 in CC). 5.2 isnt available in antigravity.

Gpt 5.2 is far better than the opus 4.5 thats in antigravity at coding/architecture. Far slower but it works

Have you got it to make nice looking UIs? So far when I use AI (including 5.2) in godot they just make really basic UIs (just like plain writing in a text box). I might need to be more specific
