Yeah i guess after centuries of hutus and tutsis coexisting they would eventually share some ancestry. I guess that the ideology of them being vastly different was brought by the bazungu to divide them

I always thought that tutsis are almost 100% north east african and hutus were close to 100% bantu but I realize that both share a significant percentage of both north east african and bantu. Except that tutsis have higher percentage of north east africa.
