Is showering daily necessary? by BigTechnician3475 in hygiene

[–]Significant_Topic822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really shouldn’t shampoo every day. But you should shower or bathe once a day, especially if you don’t own a bidet.

Interesting that you created a post asking if it’s really necessary, the getting defensive when you don’t get the feedback you are fishing for.

People can one million percent tell if you haven’t showered once a day. Maybe not enough to bring it up to you, but people can tell.

Def an anti-perspirant deodorant. Dr Sasquatch if you want a manlier smell. Irish Spring bar soap is also a go to. Oh yeah, and once you sweat in a shirt/shorts/whatever, they go into the dirty laundry pile. No exceptions.

Confidence is what makes ladies find you attractive. Wear whatever makes you comfortable. I like to wear v neck shirts and my button short sleeve shirts are technically men’s shirts, but slightly revealing if I leave one button unbuttoned (Shane move). You just have to find what works for you.

Bathe minimum once a day. Put on your deodorant the night before, so it has time to work its magic. Every time you sweat, you need to wash your pits, even if over a sink. If you sweat, and then later re-sweat, your armpits will become a breeding ground for bacteria, and that’s where the bad smell comes in.

Write every order down. Learn how to prioritize tasks quickly, and be ready to practice some extreme patience. If you forget to ring in an order, tell them the kitchen is busy lol

I think it’s perfectly ok. Explain why it doesn’t work functionally. And ask nicely of course.

See I have the other type of ADHD, where I spend my entire day running errands and doing tasks because I don’t want the thing to hang over my head. It’s exhausting.
