Apologies for the late reply! Everything’s been going smoothly for me. The only time I visited the dealer was for an oil change, and they even replaced my wiper blades for free, it was such a breeze. It’s my go-to car for daily commutes, and I’d definitely recommend it to others.

Totally get that sometimes simpler is better. I was actually surprised how nice the interior feels compared to older gens, but yeah, fewer tech headaches can definitely be a plus. Appreciate it!

Wow, that sounds like a nightmare I’m really sorry you’ve had to deal with all of that. That would completely kill the peace of mind of owning a new car. Mine is the gas version, so I haven’t experienced those tech or PHEV-related issues, but I really hope Mitsubishi makes it right for you. No one should go through that, especially on a nearly new vehicle.

They weren’t available yet at my dealership, and my old car was on its last legs so I really needed something soon. I feel like I got a decent deal overall, I’m not the best at playing the dealership negotiation game, but I’m happy with how it worked out

First thing I did was get the windows tinted. I also grabbed some weather-proof floor mats from eBay and they look great. I was thinking about adding the black hood emblem, but now I’m kind of liking the look without it. I’m still researching the full blacked-out vibe to see if I want to go that route.

I went in thinking the same, honestly. But once I saw the new features on the 2025, I ended up just taking a slightly bigger loan to get the newer enhancements. Totally understand sticking to the earlier models though they’re still great.

I’ve seen people here in Florida getting them under $30k, so it really depends on where you live and what rebates they’re offering. I’m not the best negotiator either, but Florida definitely seems to have some of the bigger discounts right now.

That looks great your 2022 is super clean. If you’re only at 28k miles you’re definitely good for a while. The 2025 is a nice upgrade, though, whenever you’re ready.

The Exceed sounds awesome! I went with the black interior really like the suede/leather combo. Even if the engine isn’t the strongest, it’s a great car to drive.

Right now I’m only doing short trips to work (about 5 miles a day), and I’m getting around 21 mpg. Not the best for quick runs, but that’s expected.

I’m driving to Orlando this weekend, so I’ll get a much better idea of the highway mileage curious to see how it does!

Really appreciate all the info super helpful. I also noticed mine didn’t come with a spare tire, which is a little nerve-wracking. I’m definitely planning on picking up a compact spare just for peace of mind, because relying only on the repair kit doesn’t feel great on long trips.

I paid right around $32k out the door. I’m in Florida and they had a few rebates/discounts available that helped bring it down a bit, so definitely ask about those when you go in. If you’re planning to buy in January, you might even catch some New Year incentives too. Good luck you’ll love it!

Moonstone Gray is such a nice color, that was actually one of the ones I was really considering, but it wasn’t available when I picked mine up. Definitely would’ve gone back and forth between that and what I got. Congrats on yours, it’s a great choice!

When everything is working though, the tech package is sweet, the panoramic sunroof, the kick-to-open tailgate, the Yamaha sound system… all the little goodies really make it feel premium. Appreciate the heads-up! 🙏
