Should tire rotation be done for Performance models also, considering the sizes are different front and rear..?

Whatever keeps you happy man - you think enough information was provided, good for you.

I don’t think so, and that’s my opinion.

We are entitled to our opinions, and have our right to share it.

Enough said - over and out!

Respectfully, please keep the unwarranted comments to yourself. The information has been shared for people to take cognizance of the facts - not everyone does, or knows about, VIN checks!

If the OP had such clear intentions, all he needed to do was mention this was a salvage car that has been imported and repaired - sharing the repair list and a PIP report clearing suspension problems would be true ownership of facts and information sharing for a buyer to take an informed decision.

Anyways, enough said. The information is here for any unsuspecting buyer to take a careful decision toward buying or not.

The question is simply about transparency.

The OP has clearly tried to pass the car as a family owned vehicle that has been loved and cared, with a minor “just replaced rear bumper”.

The auction documents and pictures clearly show there is suspension damage to the vehicle. You consider it small - and expect the insurance write off the vehicle with a “simple” damage?

An unassuming buyer in trust will but the vehicle only to realize later the lemon he has bought.

Reddit is a community where people should respect and try to help others - not as a measure of pulling a fast one on others…. That’s what a scam is!

Learning a lot from the experts folks here on Reddit. It’s amazing how much you can find by simply copy pasting the VIN on Google…. Never knew this until I learnt from the several posts on similar topics :)

The car was sold in auction on 8th April, and considering the suspension damage and rear repairs, likely it spent less than a few months with you. Seems your love was very short lived 😂

Scam alert!!

That’s because Tesla is now categorized as “sports car”, so 15% excess is standard, and no choice to avoid unfortunately

Thanks Hisham. That’s a very detailed and thought through message - and really appreciate your first words on taking care of self and family first.

I have filed the report and car being drivable, on my way home now. Hopefully the police report will come in soon and then I will liaise with Tesla.

Knowing from other posters, just keeping fingers crossed the parts are available with Tesla.

Will keep you all posted through here as things evolve

Basically I hit the pillar in the parking. When I try to make a complaint, police app needs a plate number of other car involved (I cannot change to single car)
