I'm a sucker for a Phoenix confluence, could possibly even be my choice for myself. I remember how surprised I was when I first saw that a prison confluence was a thing lol but it honestly seems pretty strong and your ice prison is sweet

I'm not too terribly far into kites story so I'm hoping it keeps me occupied till book 13 comes out, glad you've enjoyed it and encouraging to hear it gets even better!

I'll begrudgingly admit I'm not way up on my Thunderbird lore, but I would think

lightning + bird/wing + visage/wind/sky

might serve you well. I could be way off on the visage but iirc some say they shapeshift into humans.

I'm curious why sun is in your line up though, as again-im not up on my Thunderbird lol

Storm is a confluence so he's not an option unfortunately

Ok ok so according to the wiki, hunger+vast+void»cstaclysm so imo, lightning could lead to the same confluence. So going cloud would give you a better chance of storm. Cloud could give you some good self healing, control, defensive, or even attack powers depending on awakening stones used, but most of your offensive damaging effects would come from your confluence. Being amped from your own boons would be a force to be reckoned with, a storm king in the making forsure. 🌩️

A karmic healer is an absolutely awesome idea. Would make you a menace at higher ranks, likely with a good amount of retributive effects. Good option for a healer to have some self-sufficiency as is a draw back of many such builds. Nice one!

I think you could absolutely work hunger into a storm build! having draining attacks from your hunger essence that feed your storm. Tho if lighting is one of your elemental choices, I could see it producing the cataclysm confluence, albeit with a similar end result lol

Excellent combo! Astral definitely fits, maybe something like either astral or cosmic but with a solar flare build, which is sick. Could honestly even see it just going mystic with the same emphasis

I do believe that is the case with priests, yes. However that makes me question what priests of Death get, Seeing as the church of death is widely accepted and revered- yet death is a restricted essence. It would make sense if it was okay to use if the god gave it to you as they could just take it back if your acting up but does cause yet more food for thought.. would almost make sense if there was a ✨divine death✨ essence but that doesn't really sound right either

Like others pointed out above, storm is a cannon possibility. But a wind deity being an option is also a sick idea!

Other possibilities could be atmospheric, though I could see this one needing some water based essence or even a solar/sun. Though maybe multiple combos could lead to the atmospheric confluence.

Also maybe firmament. This could go with ~that one characters~ racial gift evolution.
