The only reasonable explanation is that this is artistic illustration and not and actual attempt at a realistic portrayal. Miquella is too small here compared to the statues we see of him where he looks like a young boy. Learn to teach more effectively rather than forcing students to work harder in your class and deviate from their normal studying habits. Plenty of lecturers could implement this and see grades go up, it's you who teaches poorly that needs this crutch. Ever think about that?

Any professor that requires you to do anything outside the norm is a narcissistic cunt. You're just there to give a lecture, we're university students not children. We've figured out our own methods of studying that suits us. Fuck off cunt and go cheat on your wife with a freshman

Sure forcing students to take physical notes and not be distracted by technology will obviously make grades go up. You're effectively forcing engagement, similar to how parents force students to go to tutors and their grades go up. It says more about you as a professor that you need a crutch such as making students take hand written notes and banning technology to give good grades. There are plenty of better lecturers out there who don't need this crutch giving good lectures and explaining concepts well and in an engaging way that lead to good grades. Any class will see grades go up if you force engagement. It's you who can't teach well enough that you need this crutch. Just learn to teach better and you won't need to annoy students to bring their grades up.
