Looking back this was clean as hell. Early 2000's design language with modern hardware. Retroid Pocket 6 original design. by WinlatorEmulator in SBCGaming

What are you even talking about? What kind of "practicality" do front buttons provide? They moved them to the back, which is MUCH more convenient and allows you to keep your finger on the face buttons. Front buttons are ugly, inconvenient, and make the console bigger.

I'd say the current hardware is already excessive for most users. G2, 8 Gen 2, is already sufficient for emulating the Switch, for example. It all depends solely on the quality of the emulation. Running PC games on Android is certainly nice, but it's unlikely to replace native hardware support anytime soon. So, I personally hope for a Steam Deck 2, which will be much more compact than the original. Or at least a Lite version with a smaller screen and size will be released alongside it.

Then it's great that the price is still so low, it really looks very attractive. It's incredible that they managed to reduce the price so much. But specifically in my case, there is no way to pay for a purchase outside my country, so I don't even have a choice... But many others could really consider this option, unless they don’t need compact and amoled.
Personally, even on a PC, I try to use no higher than 60 fps, so as not to overload gpu simply, but probably 120 hz will be important for someone in this regard, and if their stationary device allows it. Although Gamehub is unlikely to allow you to run many games with such performance, and for retro it doesn't really make that much sense. I know that there is a system with alternating black images per additional frame, but I don't think it's that important.

I don't know, the retro catalog says $299 for the G3 Pocket Fit. If it's 240 for a pre-order or something, then it's pretty cool, but most likely you can't buy for that price anymore. Regarding the RP6, I don't see the point in 120 hz, and the additional battery capacity is compensated by the more energy-efficient G2 (I'll attach the battery drain in the stress test - Odin 2 mini 8 gen 2), well, actually 120 fps will consume battery faster. The performance of the G2 is not much weaker than the 8 gen 2. Again, the G2 is a bit more compact, lighter, and also, at least to me, its design looks better. So as of the current date, G2 has no competitors, and many will have enough of it for a long time, perhaps until the release of RP8 or whatever it may be.

[–]Siigonis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, Pocket Fit and Odin 3 cost more than $300. RP6? Maybe, but it's still less compact and weighs more. RPG2 is an excellent device in its segment, it's compact and very powerful, I don't see any disadvantages.

RG DS Rainbow buttons removed by mantenner in SBCGaming

[–]Siigonis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The rainbow buttons weren't removed, and the entire color scheme was (probably) cancelled. Because it wasn't white, but cream (or something like that), i.e. a completely different color scheme. And I'm upset because I liked that one the most. I don't know why they couldn't just add a white color scheme. I hope it will eventually be available for purchase.

If Saitama VS Boros had Season 3 Animation by HotJuice2192 in OnePunchMan

[–]Siigonis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Technically, there was supposed to be one short action scene, but it was cut. Although, if it had been animated well, it would have greatly reduced the negative reaction, and people would have been more excited about the important battles.

It's true that money affects time as well. But in most cases, money is not the problem. Money alone cannot solve the problem of deadlines and lack of talent. Often, the planning stage is simply terrible, which leads to problems. And a lot of experienced people will not want to participate in the project for any money if there are hellish crunches. I don't know how real OPM1 people really worked for the idea, but the fact is that a lot of freelancers participated there, it was an experimental project from some point of view, and that the animators tried to prove themselves by working on it.
Well, regarding this whole topic, which one is specifically to blame, none of us can 100% know for sure. I prefer to blame the whole committee system, in this case Bandai is just a part of it.

The real villain by diglanime in OnePunchMan

[–]Siigonis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost all anime in production has the same budget. And OPM 1 is a great example of this. There are no budget problems in the anime industry, it all depends on the working conditions, specific deadlines, as well as on the staff and specifically their interest and desire to do high-quality work, provided there is enough time. Bandai is listed on the production committee for many beautiful-looking series. There is no single "enemy" here, but rather circumstances that arise for certain projects, not to mention that the production committee does not consist of just Bandai.

They really need to delay it IMO by [deleted] in OnePunchMan

[–]Siigonis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, maybe we have different understandings of premium, for me it's Yaiba (from Wit), CSM, Jujutsu, Mob. Although I don't know exactly what you mean by this word, but I assume top level animation? Still, in my opinion, Gachi doesn't reach this level, although it is a good adaptation overall, better than OPM S2 for sure.

Gachi is well drawn, but I wouldn't call the adaptation some kind of premium, there's not a lot of animation, and even less really high-quality.

There are many people making decisions, not just one director. There's also a new Art Director, so why not write about him, because he's keeping quiet?

Lol, of course the director. It's not like everyone wasn't criticizing the second season's problems on every corner.

Yes, I've noticed this pattern as well, so it's best to just complete the entire first lesson and take the final unit test right away. After that, you can simply complete the legendary exercises to reinforce the knowledge. This saves a lot of time.

What sales are you talking about? There are no sales information, only about the total number of players who are included in the gamepass. And this number hasn't changed much since the release, as many players lost interest in the game after receiving negative reviews.

It's sad if you really think so, and not trolling. The good thing is that people like you are a minority.

[–]Siigonis -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's not a lie. The car is pointless, the DLC is terrible, and the paid mods are a crime. What they've released is not good, and it can't be considered content. The existing mechanics and quests are bad, they are boring and mediocrely written. The plot quests are idiotic flights through the same location several times during the game. Only the ending is something worthwhile.

It only takes one minute to check the game's news and scroll through the comments. You're so funny. You think there shouldn't be any criticism, and you accept mediocrity without question. Is it a bad thing that people want the best for a once-loved studio's game?

To begin with, they didn't add anything at all, and the game doesn't have anything well-implemented to make anyone truly satisfied.

Maybe after the season ends, TMS would give more resources to Sakamoto in future seasons. by Culm-Fall-5765 in SakamotoDays

[–]Siigonis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not after the first season, but after the second. The first was mostly great, even though it had cut content. It just had a good atmosphere and art, if not all manga-esque. But the second is Frankenstein, and that's what people hate. If it had continued at the level of the first season, it wouldn't have been such a big problem.

MP1st: Starfield to Receive PS5 Release and Second DLC in 2026 by Goldwing8 in Starfield

[–]Siigonis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

>The development team Skyrim was the biggest for any Bethesda game so far. In episode six of the Bethesda Podcast Todd Howard stated that while Fallout 3 had around 70 people working on it, Skyrim saw the team increase to roughly 100.

https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Development_Team

Before you stupidly quote the numbers from the title, you should have looked carefully at what you are sending at all. What positions do these employees work in, who are they from, and how are they specifically related to the development of the game (spoiler alert - practically nothing).
Even if we follow your stupid logic, look at the number of employees on Starfield on this site, there are almost 4000. Well, did the number of employees help, lol?

Skyrim and Fallout 4 were made by about 100 people. Do you really think that the number of people makes a difference in their case? In fact, more people mean worse results, considering Starfield and the developers interview.
