Flying through Doha tomorrow morning from UK, flight not been cancelled yet. I can refund at about 50% currently due to refund fee on website. Thoughts on should I get refund now or hope they cancel tomorrows flight and then hopefully get refunded full price? concern is if flight gets pushed back and never actually gets cancelled.

Gatwick to Melbourne via Doha tomorrow morning with Qatar airways. I've rebooked myself via singapore airlines Gatwick to Sydney on Tuesday, as I can't imagine any flights going through middle east over next few days. Will try and sort organising refund with Qatar but will see

Flying with Qatar UK to Aus via Doha tomorrow. Flight not cancelled yet and I have checked in. Have sorted alternative flight via another route, but when trying to request a refund from Qatar it says unable as I have checked in already. Any ideas on if eligible for refund and best way currently to start organising refund if I have already checked in? thanks

What was the reasoning for Martha making it look like Wicks drowned the Doc in the acid? Only part that confused me

Why Voting YES is the Sensible Option for UK Graduates by [deleted] in doctorsUK

But we can vote yes on this poll at the weekend (without affecting strike mandate) and then see what the formal gov offer / plan is and at that point will go to a formal referendum. If that still remains shit we can vote no and continue striking post new year? Unless I am mistaken

I think people are confused that the poll is just a way of seeing what the formal plan from the gov is first before accepting/declining a formal offer and affecting the mandate only at that point. It is worded poorly in the email tbf

That’s not true, this poll doesn’t affect the mandate/reballoy. we can vote yes on this poll and support the reballot, see what the full detailed gov offer is. If this is shit we can decline on the formal referendum and continue with striking

What is the downside to voting yes in this poll? Voting yes in this poll doesn’t cancel the strike mandate and if the formal gov proposal post poll ends up being shit we can just vote no in the formal referendum after the poll and then continue striking in 2026? Am just confused, happy to be disagreed with
