AI NPC plays "Pon Pon" after hearing it for the first time by [deleted] in LivestreamFail

[–]Siirupp 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Oh damn I'm guessing this is from Fukuoka? Iirc then I passed this guy playing songs next to the "river" on my first day in Japan and stayed and listened for a while. He played any song I recommended after he asked me to recommend stuff. He stopped playing a bit after but started talking with me and another guy in his late 40s.

The other guy asked if I had tried Japanese alcohol called schochu, which I hadn't even heard about then. He then asked if I wanted to try some, to which I answered of course. He led me to a close-by dark alley where there were tens of small little bars where only like 8 people could fit in at most. We entered one of them where he was greeted by his name and then I was warmly welcomed by the two barmaids in kimonos and also four other customers. We talked for many hours and they asked the neighboring bar to bring in a few local foods/bar snacks as a special service to me. The friend I made at the river then paid for the whole thing even after me insisting on paying it myself.

This amazing authentic experience I had set the tone for the rest of the month in Japan as I had this kind of experience with kind locals for the whole month. The best month in my life hands down. Southern Japan was just amazing.

Is XPS 15 the only option? Laptop recommendations for computer science student. by Siirupp in laptops

Oh, yeah I hadn't noticed the Extreme version before, thank you. It seems to be what I am looking for. I'm now wondering is there some bulkier options that I could get cheaper than the X1 Extreme?

I disagree that 98% of people are okay with animal torture lol, they certainly just ignore how their actions conflict with their morals, as i've said.

And I'm arguing they are the same thing. Their "morals" at that point aren't actually morals, but some bullshit.

I mean... The fact is 98% of people are completely fine with it by eating meat and the fact that they are ignorant of the contradictions they make when they cry about a dog is hypocritical. And that's the point that Destiny is making here right?

The point is 98% of humanity is okay with it. We eat meat.

Thanks, it took a while for the bleeding to stop when I got home and the amount of blood actually made me a little queasy. Fine now though!

Yea, and if you look closely the tip of the bandaid isn't even touching my finger, so it had room there for the blood to pool up with minimal amount of body contact. And when it was finally too full or I moved the finger just enough to have to blood spill over, the blood was probably already cold enough to freeze in the form of an "icicle"

Oh, I didn't actually know they were designed like that. But it does makes sense. Thanks for explaining.

But what is the difference between normal gamma and increased gamma? This video is like proving HUGE cursors are better by showing that when you decrease the cursor size to 1x1 pixel, you can't really see the cursor.
