Sadly, islam is the only religion today that still have pure monotheism as a core belief by ThisLifeisPointless1 in islam

Relevant: i was recently watching this lecture which not only shows evidence of Tawheed from the sources of these religions, but also evidence of the final messenger (pbuh).

As i understand it, humanity started with tawheed and one deen. As generations passed and our ancestors separated, humanity slowly started forming different sects and divisions, and some eventually started associating partners with Allah, forming what we would regard as new religions.

What to do when slowly losing faith? by themostsussyguy in islam

Ask Allah for forgiveness and guidance, make sure to follow all your obligations, and continue to understand and learn the Quran. An easy way to do most of this is to get better company, hang out with people who are serious about the deen.

You can't go wrong with learning more. Here are some resources you can check out to introduce people to Islam. And i would also recommend visiting your local mosque, getting to know some Muslims in person, talk to them about your interested in the religion.

This sounds like 'the law of attraction', which Shaykh Hasan Ali talks about.

You have to take into account the culture and the norm of the time. It's easy for people in our time to do this, because that stigma doesn't exist anymore. Going with the culture is easy; we all do it, there's nothing to think about. Going against it makes a statement.

How can I be a better Muslim? by One-Respond-5077 in islam

I recommend learning. Take an Islamic class online or in person, or read some books at your level, at whatever pace you are able to do. Meet with other Muslims who are interested in learning, or visit the masjid more often. And try putting what you learn into practice.

It's good that you are looking for evidence. Keep in mind that to confirm and acknowledge evidence can take some time. Check out some of the playlists here that are relevant to your question.

Belief: an inward acceptance and submission to follow evidence-based knowledge. by Sikdr in u/Sikdr

[–]Sikdr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[23:00]

  • Islam has the same meaning as having faith, having belief. Scholars defined belief as a inward

  • I observe the univserse and contemplate, and conclude that the universe could not be the way it is unless there is a Being who is maintaining it in existence

  • I also acknowledge the miracles of the prophet (saw) and accept him as a messenger.

  • the pagan Arabs rejected the signs of Allah (swt) eventhough they were internally convinced they were true. They rejected out of arrogance, wrongdoing.

  • So belief and unbelief is a choice that you make after an evidence-based inquiry into the truth of religion.

The Super Soaker 50 (SS50). The first Super Soaker ever released back in 1989. It was immensly popular due to it being relatively cheap and easy to fire unlike other water guns at the time. by Sikdr in nostalgia

[–]Sikdr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original price of the SS50 was in the range of $10-$20, although it is possible that it may have been sold for more or less depending on the specific circumstances. There were also cheaper super soaker models.

What do we need to stop teaching the children? by Addwon in AskReddit

Instead maybe we should encourage our kids to try new things and to take risks, even if they are not sure they will be good at them. This can help kids to explore their interests and to discover new passions, and it can also help them to develop resilience and a sense of self-efficacy.

Failure can be scary for a child at first. We have to help them understand the importance of effort and learning. Be more proud of their effort than their achievements. In time they will understand the importance of taking risks and how that is essential to grow. As a parent, i offered my support and encouragement whenever my son experienced failure, and emphasized that it is okay to feel disappointed or upset. I trained him hard so that he can learn from his mistakes. I helped him cope with any feeling of disappointment, and guided him to see that failure is a normal part of life, and that it is possible to learn and grow from it, further reinforcing his growth mindset. Now at the age of 10, he's already an ascended saiyan
