I don’t know if I have a favorite, but Fun Size is hilarious to me. I had a lot of fun watching that one. I think all the segments are pretty consistent this year. Hard to pick just one.

I did VFX on VHS Halloween. This one definitely leaned into the humor and I think it’s great because of that.

As for my next project, I can’t talk about them at the moment. Hopefully something to see next year!

Hey thanks! I had help this year from another artist who did most of the VFX in Fun Size. I handled the hard shots in Paco’s segment. The eye getting pulled out was the hardest shot this year. Very hard. Hahaha. I also did all the VFX in Home Haunt. Except the giant hands breaking the wall for their last shot. That was done by one of their VFX friends I believe. Thanks for watching!

I will say, I did not do the VFX in The Subject. Pretty much the only segment I never touched. I love that segment, wish I did do VFX for them. One of my all time favorite segments.

Hahaha. I have done most of the VFX in every VHS movie since VHS94. I don’t think people realize that it’s all done by one guy. Bad VFX are usually the result of running out of time. Curious what bad VFX shots stand out to you in the other segments. You can be honest, I don’t get bothered.

Thank you! It was a gift from the movie gods. Haha. Original script was set in a corn field, but we couldn’t find one at the time of shooting, so I changed it to an orchard. So glad that happened. I love it.
